5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: It's Crucial. DDR 1600 and 1.5V

Cons: None...it is what is which is good stable memory that is not flashy.

Other Thoughts: I did not purchase from newegg but from another vendor on sale for $65.

I'm a big believer in Crucial memory and truly feel it is the best out there.

My only other comment is to the earlier poster who gave the memory 3 stars because of a misunderstanding of the 240 pin terminology. That crazy rating shouldn't take away from this fine kit.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good price point. No silly heat spreaders or obnoxious plastic shells that do nothing but take up space. Passed some stress tests right out of the box, and show no signs of failure.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: They look cheap, but they perform as well as anything else does. If aesthetics are not important to you, this is what you should be looking at.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap AND quallified

Pros: Bought a Supermicro board, memory, processor, and 3U case all in one place.

Cons: Supermicro seems to really annoy professional with crazy memory requirements. Not ECC, but it is DDR3 1600. Sadly, no overclocking for this memory.

Other Thoughts: This memory will keep us from going to a Xeon proc, even if we have to. Surprised at the lack of a heat spreader. I am guessing the chips are not being pushed hard at all at CAS11.

3 out of 5 eggsThis is miscategorized

Pros: Newegg, there seems to be a typo as it says DDR3 technology with DDR2 pins... unless it really is like that... it makes no sense.

Cons: Newegg, there seems to be a typo as it says DDR3 technology with DDR2 pins... unless it really is like that... it makes no sense.
