5 out of 5 eggsNot for 2010 Toshiba; VERIFY your specs YOURSELF

Pros: Appears to be premium RAM!
Like every Crucial I have put in my previous Toshiba laptops (XP) have been great.
But... I trusted the 'Crucial Scan adviser' to tell me what would work - and waited 18 months to afford this purchase!
Except BOTH- Matched PAIR - will not work in my laptop Toshiba L675 type: even with a flash BIOS & etc..

so feel lucky i got a 2GB upgrade from a 8GB purchase.
The laptop "Performance gauge" tells me i went from 5.9 to 7.1 so this un-matched pair; one OLD and one of these NEW ones together kinda work.. not as groovy as that matched pair i have dreamed about..

LOL should be happy i can just just one of the pair! and machine boots up..
PLUS the price went down since 18 months ago!

Cons: if your laptop can handle this level of fast RAM no cons at all!

Would recommend it highly and Tech support at Crucial is FIRST RATE and fast!!! that was worth it!

Other Thoughts: in my 18 month wait to have enough cash to buy this matched pair i ran the Crucial upgrade adviser dozen times or more.
Back a few years ago on Win XP the faster ram used to snap up the other Satellites i had.
Somehow i did not verify this item was just too fast.
SO double check your specs with Win7..

its not The/eggs fault: but with restocking fees and lack of cash to return item for refund - in time-- i have to loose out on a 8GB of matched ram.. kinda sad after long wait, but the economy has sucked if you had not noticed.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat memory

Pros: Well made memory, Crucial web site has a way of checking if memory is compatible with your system. Works great with my HP Elitebook 8440P

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Wish more memory companies would have the memory compatible checker that Crucial has. This shows a company really cares about pleasing its customers. and they are USA based, which helps in support. even a online chat for questions. Will buy from them from now on

2 out of 5 eggsGot a bad one

Pros: Well priced. I've had good luck with them in the past.

Cons: A few days after installing this, my computer started blue screening. I ran memtest on it and sure enough it failed.

Other Thoughts: I didn't rate this a one because even the best manufacturer will have a few failures. I just wish it had happened right away while I still had all the packaging.

4 out of 5 eggsMade a big difference

Pros: Upgraded my wife's Samsung laptop running an 380M i3 but only came with 3 gigs of ram. Even after cleaning it up (both hardware and software) it was still sluggish. I noticed that the RAM usage was very high, so I figured I'd buy some replacement sticks.

The Crucial ram was plug and play with no issues, done in 5 minutes, and had a noticeable improvement in the boot time, program loading time, etc.

Cons: A little more than I wanted to pay for a laptop upgrade, but she's happy so it was worth it.

Other Thoughts: Probably should've spent the money on a new SSD for her desktop computer instead.

Pros: Works well in a Lenovo M58P
Flash the Bios to the updated version 5cja77 first though unless you like a blank screen and a beeps.

Cons: None
Crucial memory has never let me down.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked in Lenovo Y410P

Pros: Put these into a Lenovo Y410P to replace the 8 gig single stick of memory so I can have dual channel. No problems at all. Memory works fine.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Price was right. Unfortunately I'm not really seeing any difference between single channel and dual channel operation. Probably, knowing what I know now, I would have left the 8 gig single stick in place.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks in Mac Mini 2012

Pros: Read some reviews and at other retailer where people said it worked in Mac Mini but not MBR. Was worried when I took out my stock ram and noticed that the mini has etched into it, "1.5v RAM" and this is 1.35.
However, both sticks work. I notice a subjective improvement.

Cons: none
