SYBA CL-CRD20036 USB 2.0 3.5" Drive Bay Internal Card Reader

Pros: Seemed to do the trick just like any other cheap card reader. Nothing fancy, not TOO terribly cheap looking (I've seen a lot worse) but the best part is it read the couple cards I put in, so I assume all is well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Why do people complain about the red LED? Nobody minds the countless red LEDs on case fans, but why on this one? I think it's rather handy to know that the card reader is on and ready to go.

For motherboards that use the +5 volt standby power for USB ports (some have jumpers to enable this), your red light will be on all the time, indicating that there is power to the USB port. Again, I'd rather have the LED to tell me that, than not. Can't please everyone I guess!

Pros: Works great.

Cons: The "always on" red light on the front. If they insist on a light...at least go with a color that makes it look like a have a computer from the 1990s. Better yet, skip the light.

Not USB 3.0.

Other Thoughts: Others have mentioned that all drives always show up in Windows. This is not true for me. Maybe it is a motherboard thing? They did all appear as the drivers were auto-installing, but now they only appear if I insert media.

Pros: 2.0 works already had 2-3.0 all readers I have used works well no problems at all

Pros: Manufacturer Warranty is a lie they will give you tech support on it for 3 years but will not cover hardware issues

Cons: ok it worked for 3 or 4 uses then the facker broke I dont uses my front based card reader a whole ton but i like to have it there when i want it there and honestly if i can't expect to something to work then its not worth buying.

so lets go back to when i got the product i got it and i was this is the wrong thing cuz it came in connect-land box and has totally different part number on it i called new egg nope its right ok i put it in it work 3 months later i go to pop in a micro sd out my cell to get me some pics no denied then I was like ok I go check the device manger see if there any issues in there nope comes up clean so i hunt down a phone number for syba 1-800-618-0199 if any one needs it and they tell me I had the product and it working for more then a month so they wont replace it. new egg wont replace it cuz it beyond 30days and that totally fair they are a reseller but syba not replacing there faulty hard ware that just stupid

Other Thoughts: mine broke after 3months i uses my front card reader about once a month to make phone back up. so i just paid $3 per use.

Pros: This is a great card reader for the price, easy install and came with three different colors

Cons: A red power light is always on...even when your pc is off

Pros: - cheap
- works fine without drivers in Windows 7 x64, except now 4 drives show up even thought they're empty
- comes w/ USB (slightly annoyed that it's upside down)
- SD and microSD slots work fine

Cons: - super bright and annoying power red LED that is always on, even if the computer is turned off
- build quality looks iffy
- faceplate and card slots don't quite line up, I had to jam in my SD card

Other Thoughts: I wasn't really expecting too much when I bought this but the cons annoyed me enough to write a review to warn other about it.

Pros: Reads most media cards, adds usb port, multiple faceplates to attempt to match case color

Cons: Says it reads micro SD (cell phone memory cards) but does NOT without an adapter, and no longer reads that anymore for some reason... red light stays on constantly, green light on with a card in, didn't line up with mounting holes OR my case's 3.5" adapting bay plate

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. I don't know what to recommend instead of this, but I recommend ANYTHING but this.

Pros: Works Great

Pros: If you need an internal card reader for an average use.. this one will do!!! Cant beat the price :)

Cons: red led light on the front panel.. disconnectable though))

Pros: this product works and is as described! its easy to install and does what its supposed to.

Cons: none with the product, just with newegg customer service they do not know how to keep customers happy!`
