I needed a plain flash drive. No whistles. Perfect!
- Pros: I needed a plain flash drive to augment my IronKey and my MicroSD phone devices. Something for loading drivers on servers during installations. For quick transfers to co-workers during meetings. A little disposable, but hopefully not trash, simple flash drive with no protections, no U3 cr@p, no IronKey applications. AND, I wanted it to be the one that stays in my pocket 24/7 with my loose change and my keys and my pen... this is perfect. It's holding up just fine. It's small and slick and is easy to fish out of my pocket. I deleted and formatted it's partition(s) in XP upon purchase and it is exactly what I needed. A plain old flash drive. Quick enough. Small enough. Durable enough. I don't think the case is going to separate and fall apart...
- Cons: None. If you're looking for a plain usb drive, buy this one.
- Other Thoughts: The larger versions have pink and purple trim... that sucks.

I think I'm gonna buy a 16Gb one anyways... my girlfriend is pretty, I got nothing to prove! heh
Simple and reliable
- Pros: Inexpensive, simple, robust. Eight bucks for 2GB makes it easy to have a whole keyring of bootable installer "disks."
- Cons: Cap will be gone within days; would be nice to have larger mounting hole
- Other Thoughts: Had one of these along with a rubbery corsair on my key fob and went swimming! Both made it out ok. This was the first thumb drive I ever bought and it survived all sorts of abuse - the only thing that killed it was a house fire. The cap will be lost quickly because it doesn't stick very well - but don't worry, this device is very rugged.
