5 out of 5 eggsSolid choice

Pros: Works great in our Canon A590 point-and-shoot camera. Class 6 seems fast enough to record video as well as photos.

Cons: Wish it was free!

Other Thoughts: Just a good little memory card for general purpose use, no problems.

1 out of 5 eggsStick with a better brand

Pros: Nothing really.

Cons: Locks up camera, corrupts huge batches of pictures. All around bad purchase.

Other Thoughts: Had a Sandisk card forever and never had any problems but when it came time to get an extra I thought I would save a few dollars...bad idea. When I first got the card everything seemed fine, until I had about 1000 pictures on it and went to transfer them to my computer. About 200 of them were corrupt, like bad blocks of memory corrupt. There was no way of restoring the pictures because there was just no information there to restore. I decided it was just a fluke and formatted the card in my camera to try again, now it locks the camera up after taking a single picture, requiring a battery pull. Thought it was my camera so I threw the old Sandisk in, works like a champ. So in summary, do not buy this card.

5 out of 5 eggsgood price

Pros: Good price for a basic memory card. The speed is fast enough for any point and shoot. Basic (non-HD video) recording was fine with no buffering lag.

Cons: These are not high capacity, or super fast, but given the price when they are on sale, this is a non-issue. If you need something bigger, or faster for HD video, then spend a little more money. This memory card is for basic pictures and video only.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and lasts

Pros: Has lasted 1 year.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Outlasted a regular Transcend 4g card. It is now dead. Won't read, write or format. Guess I'll stick with the HC version.

1 out of 5 eggsdied after 3 months

Pros: worked great for 3 months. Great read/write speeds.

Cons: The card died and lost all pictures that were in it after 3 months of usage in a Nikon point/shoot. I cannot format or run chkdsk on the card. Won't read/format in camera either.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully transcend replaces it under warranty. It's just a nuisance to go through for an $8 card.
