Great RAM

Pros: This is excellent ram for the price! Supports Dual Channel Motherboards, and is DDR2 800.

Cons: Not supported for extreme overclocking.

Other Thoughts: You can't overclock budget ram - there are no heat spreaders, so if you want to overclock, this is not the ram for you. For the other 95% of us, this is excellent ram, and will boost the performance of your computer extremely.

Pros: Overclocks great when they have heat spreaders on them. I have this ram at 890 mHz currently w/ latencies of 4-4-4-12 @1.80 volts. Great buy for so called "budget" ram.

Cons: none that i have ran into

Other Thoughts: This ram can be great for overclocking if you get some heat spreaders on them. I would definitely buy this ram again.

Pros: It works. Upgraded from 2 GB to 3 GB on a Dell Inspiron 530 with no problems. So if you are buying this for a Dell Inspiron it will definitely work. Boosted Vista memory score from 4.2 to 5.6.

Cons: Won't make toast.

Other Thoughts: It's not advanced memory but if you just need RAM for an upgrade or replacing a dead module it's a pick-up-and-go.

Pros: the price and works as advertised, not much else to say....its just ram.

Cons: timings are a little slow, but thats expected when you pay 20 dollars for 1 gig. No heat spreader, again, expected for the price.

Other Thoughts: Good for troubleshooting a computer that isn't booting, if its a ram issue. Had mushkin ddr2800 dual channel ram and both sticks died at the same time, threw this in and pc came back to life. RMA'd the mushkin ram and now one of the two sticks i recieved is dead again. So this transcend ram is back in paired with a single gig of dual channel mushkin with relaxed timings, works like a charm.
