works like it's supposed to
- Pros: Works as it should, fast reads/writes. I use this in my G35 car holding mp3s.
- Cons: No issues
- Other Thoughts: Great price, as always newegg rocks!
83x read, 9x write?!
- Pros: Faster than advertised read speed, about 12.2mb/sec. 8GB (7.55 after format)
- Cons: The write speed on this card is the slowest I've ever seen! I snap a 10mp image from my canon 40d and it takes no less than 3 seconds for the write light to go off. Where as my 4gb transcend (120x) takes less than 1 second. Vista shows write speeds of just over 1 mb/sec.
- Other Thoughts: I've always said READ is more important to professionals as we have to download during the 20 mins half times in the press box, and i still stand by that. The better you get, the less wasted shots you will take, thus I never hit my buffer limit. however, i'm afraid when shooting RAW for weddings that I may hit that buffer limit with this card, therefore I returned it. I've never used anything but San dics and transcend, it just looks like this one isn't that great. There is a cheaper one that's 133x now? weird.
