Quieter than a whisper, less power-hungry than a mechanical drive, able to leap off your tabletop while running and probably survive. Look in My Computer: it's . . . well, it looks like an ordinary hard drive, doesn't it?
Far from ordinary, though, this 32 GB solid state hard drive Transcends its electro-mechanical counterparts. Using the standard 2.5 inch form factor and the common SATA interface, it looks like a meek mild-mannered hard drive, but having no moving parts, it is shock resistant to an unprecedented degree, and is not "virtually silent", it IS silent. Smaller power requirements mean less heat generated and longer battery life.
Whether you like using your laptop while jouncing across the veldt on safari or you just don't want your five year old to break the drive again, this may very well be the drive for you. We'll wait right here while you decide for yourself.

The same price as the 8GB drive.
- Pros: 32GB, decently fast for what I have been doing with it (a control drive for a Linux NAS)
- Cons: Slow Write performance compared to rotary drives, but with this price you could RAID 2 or more of them for some wicked read speed.
Cheap
- Pros: great for a NAS
- Cons: too slow for computer

Works Great
- Pros: I'm using this as the system drive in an openBSD box acting as my router/firewall with pf, and I wanted a drive that makes No noise. So I cant really comment on how fast the drive performs if you wanted to put this in your desktop with windows or linux. But its cheap, silent, low power, and works great for my situation. No problems having either the bios or OS detecting/using the drive.
- Cons: If you're a serious user, its probably too slow to work well as your desktop system disk.
Good Price
- Pros: Very little power needed
A little bit faster then a normal Sata HD Lots of Space of a SSD
- Cons: Expensive
- Other Thoughts: this is very cheap for a SSD, i bought 2, one i use for my Laptop and the other i use in a Mini-itx, both work well and use relatively little power. If you want a SSD this is the product to get.
