5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Worked like a charm. Just picked this up to get a Dell laptop up to 4 Gb of RAM. Popped it in and the computer picked it right up.

Cons: None to note.

2 out of 5 eggsNot as good as it seems

Pros: Fairly decent ratings and worked OK at first.

Cons: did not improve performance like doubling ram should. Only showed minor improvements.

Other Thoughts: has gone bad after only 8 months(will not let even the smallest simplest programs run). Needs replacement with better brand.

5 out of 5 eggsInstalled into a Gateway netbook

Pros: Cheap.
Plugs right in.
"It just works!" ©. :D

Cons: Wasn't free.
I had to plug it in.

Other Thoughts: Installed it into a Gateway LT31 netbook (Athlon64 based system), upgrading the memory from 1GB to 2GB. Doesn't necessarily make the system faster per se', but it does keep it from slowing down because of memory paging.

System picked the memory up immediately. I didn't have to do anything to make it see it.

5 out of 5 eggsThe right stick for the job

Pros: Standard-compliant, compatible and stable. Memtest verified and I've ran it for several weeks now. Not much more you can expect from it if you aren't into overclocking.

Cons: I have no issues with this RAM.

Other Thoughts: This was the finishing touch on an EeePC 900A. Running XP SP3 with no virtual memory and a 256MB RAM drive for temp files ( minimizing writes to the SSD ). This is one of the most fun little machines I've ever owned

3 out of 5 eggsTranscend 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model JM800QSU-2G - Retail57973184

Pros: 2X faster than 2G. But 2G was fast enough and not that much Noticeable with the upgade. It definitely will open other applications faster than it would with 2G Ram. Fan will not run as much as it did before the upgrade. It will help with a 32M to 64M Window 7 upgrade. I am still happy with the start up and shut down, about the same amount of time. Sell your old Ram on line and get 1/2 your money back.

Cons: Just will running normal web pages are about the same speed as before the upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggs2 Gb For the Win

Pros: I bought this to upgrade my Asus 1005PE Netbook from 1Gb to 2Gb. Works great. Just opened up the case and popped it in. Works like a charm. Made my computer a lot faster. I bought this brand b/c it was the cheapest at the time. Rebates are awesome.

Cons: None yet. Great Stuff.

Other Thoughts: Nice upgrade if your netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter. I really like Win7, but it can be slow if only 1Gb of RAM is installed.
