5 out of 5 eggsGood Card. Good Price.

Pros: This worked perfectly in our Canon point-and-shoot, and built-in laptop reader. Does not work in an older card reader, but I blame the reader for that. Good price for the value.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsIt's ok

Pros: - Good speed
- Good capacity

Cons: - Some compatibility issues when using in a PCMCIA SD reader
- Few bad sectors

Other Thoughts: It works well for general storage, but I would put anything important on this due to the bad sectors that started to appear.

1 out of 5 eggsSD 4GB not all the same for cameras

Pros: Fits into my camera.

Cons: This SD card did not work in my Canon SD450 Elph. I previously purchased a 4GB SD with speed of 150x and it worked fine. This model only has 133X speed and didn't work. I'm not sure if the speed is the problem or not.

5 out of 5 eggsbest game in town for legacy devices

Pros: picked up a couple of these for my car's MP3 player since it
predates SDHC. still going strong!
this is the only way to get 4GB storage for devices that
predate SDHC. the vast majority of 4GB cards these days
are SDHC, so it's great somebody still makes non-HC 4GB
cards.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsKilling Cards via Formatting....

Pros: Works in non SDHC devices such as in Rock Band 2 on the Wii.

Cons: None, does what I intended it to do.

Other Thoughts: The main reason I wanted to post this review. To the person who killed two of this card already - do NOT use Windows to format SD cards, you'll kill them quite often if you do.

If you want to format SD/HC via your PC, then google "SD Formatter" and use that to do it. It's the only safe way I've found.

4 out of 5 eggsworks in non SDHC devices

Pros: cheap, non-hdsc, works in my GoPro Hero cam, as well as my old card reader which does not read sdhc.

Cons: some of the larger video files from the camera didn't read properly with WMP until I rebuilt the indexes (VLC did play it though). This could be the fault of the camcorder device though, since the cam is only rated to use 2gb non sdhc cards, and half the time, the batteries died before I ran out of card space.

Other Thoughts: I got 4 of these cards to use with a GoPro Hero camcorder for an endurance race I drove in a few weeks ago. For the most part, the cards worked fine, and I got about an hour and 40 minutes of video on one card with the gopro camera before I stopped the recording (3.5gb file). Had to run the file through virtualdub to fix an indexing problem, but after that, the footage came out fine. it could be an issue with the camera though, because the cards seem to work fine in my nikon point and shoot camera and old card reader.

I also have the 150x version of this card, which seemed to work flawlessly with my gopro hero cam, I'll need to do more tests though.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks in Nikon D50

Pros: Works in Nikon D50 right out of box. No format required. Doubled capacity of the old 2GB SD card which is the limit of the camera.

Cons: Speed could be faster.

Other Thoughts: This card is a neat solution for Nikon D50 owners for more memory space. You can take 1100 highest quality JPEG pictures without changing a card.

2 out of 5 eggsDef SDHC

Pros: Writing speed is pretty fast.

Cons: This is definitely mislabeled. It should be classified as an SDHC card instead of a regular SD card. This card does not work at all in legacy card readers of devices that only support the older SD cards. This should be promptly labeled as an SDHC card

Other Thoughts: Otherwise this card is perfect. A friend of mine wanted this card because his older memory cards on his old camera would not cut it anymore int terms of storage. I got him this card and it did not work in his camera but worked everywhere else.
