Pros: It allows me to write to SD cards that are used for our small deployment of Raspberry Pi. It gets the job done and works with CentOS 7, Fedora 22, and Debian 8.

Cons: It's a little on the big side, but for the price I'm ok with it.

Pros: Works fine and it works on linux. I have moved files to and from my SD card and I have not had a problem. My internal SD card reader on my laptop doesn't work with linux so this is a great thing to have. It is small and I tested both a standard SD card and a micro sd card. When I tested both cards at the same time it only showed the micro sd card.

Cons: I guess not being able to mount the micro sd card and the standard sd card at the same time may be a con for some.

Cons: does not bring me beer

Other Thoughts: For 6 bucks, by far this has been the best card reader I currently own that still works. I have purchased a few powered multi-card readers that were from Name Brand companies and have had them fail, cause blue screens , and driver issues. This card reader is a MUST BUY.. for 6 bucks you WILL NOT find anything cheaper, lighter or compact as this.BTW did i mention PLUG & PLAY!!!!
