3 out of 5 eggsGreat card! Lousy support! :(

Pros: Excellent speed if your camera supports it. Many Nikons don't, Canons do. Great price.

Cons: LOUSY, SLOW support. Had one die and it seems they only move your RMA along when you email them. Three weeks from mail date, 12 days from the email from them acknowledging receipt of my bad one and my email asking where replacement is and they finally email me a tracking number for replacement using what looks like the slowest possible shipping method. Since tracking number is still not working, I suspect they shipped it the day after my email saying I needed it by this weekend.

Other Thoughts: Check your camera specs to make sure it supports UDMA 6 or above before wasting your money on one of these. Make sure you can afford to be without one for a LONG time if it dies. To be fair, I have had another one of these for 2 years with no trouble.

5 out of 5 eggsPhenominal Price! Best value!

Pros: First off the price is perfect for what you get! I use a few of these with my 7D 1D4 and they perform like or better then my SanDisk extreme cards! Don't hesitate to buy. These work great taking video as well.

Cons: None whatsoever!!

Other Thoughts: For the price and performance you cant beat these cards.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Purchased for my Canon 7d. I mainly shoot raw and it is able to keep up as fast as the camera is rated. No problems yet.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsReal Fast CF Card

Pros: Transfer speeds are 'pedal to the metal' fast with no data corruption at all.

Cons: No downside with this CF card.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this CF card in a Canon EOS 7D. Shooting in RAW with no delays also HD video transfers have no lag.

If your spending the money on a good piece of equipment then this CF card is a good investment.

VERY IMPORTANT: If your buying this for a camera then make sure to check the specs on your camera because this CF card will only do what your camera can do in speed.

5 out of 5 eggsFastest card money can buy

Pros: My benchmarks:
Write speed = 74 MB/s
Read speed = 92 MB/s

Cons: Expensive, but that's to be expected for the cream of the crop.

Other Thoughts: The card is only as fast as your camera hardware. Older cameras like 1D III and D3/D700 have in-camera write speeds of only 30 MB/s. You will not see much performance improvement from this card over the old Extreme III card unless you use a newer camera model or card reader made after Winter 2010.

2 out of 5 eggsBig numbers, average speed

Pros: High capacity, OK speed

Cons: High price, no significant speed increase compared to Sandisk extreme 3

Other Thoughts: First card I got was defective, Transcend replaced it but I had to pay for shipping and wait for a month.
The new card is OK but speed is about the same as my old Sandisk Extreme 3 16GB that I bought for about half the price. ( Nikon D700 with MB-10 and EN-EL4A battery.)
Problematic Transcend RMA support for Canada.
