exFAT file system The Transcend Class 10 SDXC card supports extFAT file system. Extended file allocation table (exFAT) is a new file system that is better adapted to the growing needs of mobile personal storage. The exFAT file system not only handles large files, such as those used for audio/video media; it enables seamless data portability between desktop PCs and consumer electronic devices allowing easy interchange between the two. Inheriting its base from FAT, exFAT can be implemented with minimal effort. In addition, you can choose to add transaction support to your exFAT implementation (TexFAT) to ensure transaction-safe operations.
ECC This SDHC card features built-in Error Correcting Code (ECC) to detect and correct error in data transfer.
Write-Protection Switch A write-protection switch on the SDHC card protects your content from accidental erase or over-writing.

Other Thoughts: Bought 2 of these cards for my Sony NX5U and AX2000 HD cams, worked flawless in each cam on my recent gig..allows me to record High Def footage for close to 7 hours straight, all my card readers including my Dell studio laptop reader worked with these cards, transfering files was fast with no errors...I have yet to have a bad transcend card , I also own 3 transcend 32Gig cards as well..as always Newegg delivered these within 2 days of my order....
