About one tenth the size of a standard SD card, Transcend’s microSDHC Class 4 memory card is a smart and cost-effective choice for you to capture and store more of your everyday life with your mobile gadgets. All microSDHC cards are comprehensively tested for compatibility and reliability, and carry Transcend’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. Each card contains built-in ECC (Error Correction Code) that automatically detects and corrects errors during data transfer, and also utilizes a sophisticated wear-leveling algorithm for consistent long-life operation.

Class 4 Speed Transcend’s microSDHC Class 4 memory card is fully compatible with SD 2.0 Standards and features a Class 4 speed rating that ensures at least 4 MB/s write speed, ideal for capturing video on mobile phones and digital cameras.
ECC, ISP, SDMI and CPRM Each card contains built-in Error Correcting Code (ECC) to detect and correct transfer errors during data transfer, and allows In System Programming (ISP) for updating firmware. Furthermore, it complies with Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) portable device requirements, and supports Content Protection for Recordable Media (CPRM).
Mechanical write-protection switch Mechanical write-protection switch on the back of the flash card prevent the content from being erased or overwritten by accident, just like floppy disks. Push it down to make the drive write-protected, and push it in the opposite direction to read or write data.
Energy Saving The Transcend microSDHC Class 4 memory card supports auto-standby, power-off and sleep modes, reducing power wasted when it isn’t being used.

After buying it i realized it was a class 4 which would explain why it had suchs low download speeds. Upgraded after it died to a class 10. Cons: As mentioned above it died just randomly one day. Unable to format or partition the drive in the pc. Shame... Manufacturer Response: Dear Customer, It is unfortunate that you had a negative experience with the microSD card. Transcend does offer a limited lifetime warranty on your card and if found defective (no physical damage) will replace the card for you. They work just fine. I have never had any sort of issue with Transcend's flash products over the years. Cons: None at all. Other Thoughts: I wish they would make these things in bright red or green.
