4 out of 5 eggsWorks As Expected

Pros: It works without issue.

Cons: It's too big to format with 4K clusters (FAT32) in MS Windows 7.

Other Thoughts: Formatted as FAT32 (8K clusters) in MS Windows 7.

5 out of 5 eggs32GB for HD Video

Pros: Newegg was extremely fast shipping for my tight timeline. As for the Transcend 32GB card it did preform as stated with rated speeds on my desktop, my laptop is about 6 years old and it performed slower as I did expect. Slower tech back then. For those that wonder this 32GB card gave me 8.6 hours of video recording without having to download to my harddrive. Did all my Disney Vacation videos as I had hoped. I will definitely recomend this card to everyone!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Perfect size card for 12 days of vacation recording at Disney World while recording from my Samsung FMX-F80 camcorder in 1080 HD (x264 format).

5 out of 5 eggsFast

Pros: Massive capacity for the price, killer read speed, ECC, UHS-1

Cons: I dont really know, I hate those sill safety tags that are pretty redundant on SD cards at this point.
It would be cool if they vacuum molded the jackets onto the IC on these cards like the way HoodMan did with their Raw Steel waterproof cards. They are a cool design but way over priced for the supposed advantage.

Other Thoughts: Im road testing as many ultra-fast cards within about a $30+- price bracket for a major photo project where Ill be buying 20+ cards and storing everything on the cards and backing up to two HDDs along the way. The two cards that seem to work well for me speed wise are this and the Sandisk Extreme UHS-1 (not the Extreme Pro which I cant afford to buy 20 of at this point), and so far, I havent had any complaints. My trust levels for critical stuff like this is with Sandisk just because Ive known them for a very long time and I know their consistency which is a big deal. Ive used the hell out of other kinfd of Transcen cards, tehur yellow Class 10 and their black ones also (I cant remember the names of them), and given the cameras that I was using at the time and what I was piling on to the cards they worked very well.
My thoughts on these UHS-1 cards now is that they are at least this good and they also add in ECC which is not advertised by Sandisk on their Extreme's but it IS listed on their website. Theres a $2 difference between cards and the read speed of the Transcend is supposedly 85mb and the read speed of the Sandisk is 45 so all in all the transcend is an attractive possibility, for me, it just comes down to consistency and trust value...
