To save every precious, valuable and romantic moment, you may purchase high resolution digital camera, digital camcorder, or other high-end devices. However, normal Secure Digital Cards (SD Cards) on the market today may not let you capture these moments because of slow read/write speed. Slow read/write speed may cause lag time between shots and result in missing the opportunity to record some of your finest memories.
This A-DATA Turbo SDHC Memory Card (Class 6), rated a Class 6 performance card which means the card has a guaranteed write speed of at least 6MB/s, will reduce time between shots. For those high-end digital devices users, A-DATA Turbo SDHC Memory Card (Class 6) will ensure you capture every “picture-perfect” moment!

A great card
- Pros: Fast and cheap
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Remember to format your card before using it. I forgot about this and I almost RMA it because it did not work in my Cannon SD1000 at first.
Good value for money
- Pros: The best price per gigabyte in SDHC.
- Cons: Can be rendered inoperable by a non-SDHC-compatible device.
- Other Thoughts: This card works well, is fast, and is excellent value for money. I own several.
However, be sure that you use it only with an SDHC-compatible device. I initially used an older Sandisk Multimate SD+ reader that did not have the SDHC logo (newer ones do). The reader seemed to read and write the card fine -- until the 2GB boundary, whereupon the card malfunctioned. Sandisk tech support determined that the card's internal description of its capacities and physical layout had been overwritten with incorrect information. service@adata.com.tw was unable to help with a Windows program that could have restored the card to its factory state.
A prior reviewer of this card cited problems with his Kodak z812. I suspect it's the same issue, as the z812 manual does *not* say the camera is SDHC compatible, and Kodak offers as a z812 accessory an SD card of 2GB maximum size.
Be certain your device sports the the SDHC logo, and you will avoid grief.

Great
- Pros: Fast, High Capacity.
Works without a problem in my Nikon Coolpix S51c. Write times have greatly improved over my even more generic 2g SD card i replaced.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: Other people have said to make sure and format this card before you use it. I inserted it directly into my camera and had no problem.
No good for ReadyBoost (WIN7)
- Pros: Cheap, readable with both Win7 and Ubuntu
- Cons: Win7 will not recognize it as able to work for ReadyBoost on my Gateway laptop. Cheap enough that I am not very unhappy.
- Other Thoughts: No idea how it will work in a camera
This is the worst memory card ever
- Pros: None what so ever
- Cons: The card works for about 2 months max, then fails to format. I have sent this card back to adata for replacement and they don't even reply to you. good luck getting a replacement because it's been already 2 months and I haven't received anything. I followed their packing instructions and their customer service reps are unresponsive.
- Other Thoughts: adata sd cards are probably the worst memory cards I have used. I have purchased (3) 2gb sd cards from them in the past as well and they have all died in similar ways - either unformattable or permanently write protected (and the switch is not locked). I have formatted the sd cards every 3 weeks, to optimize their life, and to no avail, they die at the end of a 2 month period. Adata is useless
