1 out of 5 eggsRMA Support Stinks!

Pros: 8gb, small.

Cons: Cheap build quality, casing fell apart after 2 days. transfers are slow, corrupts all your files(especially larger ones). No Tech support..nothing but problems with these.

Other Thoughts: I tried to return 2 of these for replacement, no go. USA Support said its not their product. My advice, stay away from a-data altogether simply because any tech support is non existent.....go with a better company(sandisk replaced my 2gb flash when it stopped being recognized, no questions asked AND i was able to talk with someone on the phone) you get what u pay for.

1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy This Product

Pros: It's 8GB, small size.

Cons: This is the slowest flash drive I have ever used or even heard about in my entire life. It takes about 30 seconds to a minute to load Firefox or OpenOffice from this worthless overpriced piece of junk. If you're even thinking about getting this flash drive because it's cheap and big, just walk away. And don't take my word for it either, look at all the other reviews.

Other Thoughts: And not only that, you also can't format it. At all. That means you can't transfer files over 4GB, because it comes FAT32, and you can't partition for booting an OS either.

Pros: Cheap. Small.

Cons: EXTREEEEEEEEMELY SLOOOOOW! It took me almost 2 hours to copy 750MB, even with my fast USB 2.0 ports.

Other Thoughts: If you care event slightly about speed choose something else.

1 out of 5 eggsLook Out !

Pros: Small, inexpensive.

Cons: This unit is what you pay for - poor assembly, the usb connector is coming loose from the body. Files transferred into it become corrupt it seems instantly. I tried the same files into a different brand usb flash drive as well as into a portable hdd, and they transferred w/o any issues.

Other Thoughts: As others have stated, you get what you pay for. The unit only seemed to store files correctly once or twice. It wouldn't allow formating to NTFS either which is big if you want to store video files larger than 4gb (FAT32 limit). I would advise to stay away from this one unless quality improves soon.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small size for an 8GB flash drive. Relatively cheap.

Cons: This is the slowest USB 2.0 flash drive I have ever seen. Over an hour to copy 2.8GB worth of data to it (.doc, .ppt, .xls, .wav). If you're looking for speed, you won't find it here.

1 out of 5 eggsNo good at all

Pros: Cheap, 8gb (7.82gb usable). very small size.

Cons: Got Two of these flash drives, same issues. Plastic housings fell apart after a day and a half, whole thing is held together with only hot glue. Files are constantly getting corrupted after copying them over. Memory Chip is s*msung.

Other Thoughts: When these things cracked open, i took a minute to look at their design and it seems like the memory chips were damaged during manufacturing. both have burn marks next to the chip brand, possibly from the hot glue gun they used to stick this whole thing together. not sure if its a bad batch or what, hopefully a-data will give me new flash drives.....i will stay away from this brand in the future.
