Where did the great shipping go?

Pros: Well the card worked just fine in my computer, too bad the phone I bought it for was a different story. Even though they (forums, manufacturer) said it was SDHC compatable, I found out after an hour of wrestling with it and digging up info on the internet that it's not.

Cons: Not really a con on the card but what's with the lame shipping now? Used to be I'd order something with free shipping and it would be here within 2 days, which makes sense, I'm only about an hour drive from where they ship from. I would get a tracking number quickly and as soon as I did I could check the status of my item.

This thing took nearly a week to get here, when I finally got a tracking number it was days before dhl even acknowledged it existed. Then they handed it off to the post office, who held onto it for a day or two, without giving me a new tracking number or any way to know where it was after that. It just said it was in San Bernardino which isn't much help since SB is the largest county (by area) in the continental US.

Other Thoughts: Used to be I always shopped newegg, the prices were great and the shipping was fantastic, getting here in 2 days even with free shipping. But over the holidays I found most of the things I needed other reputable places for less money and/or with better deals, and now with this new shipping (that I've seen others have gotten too) I just don't know anymore...

So anyway, the card works fine, the shipping not so much.

Pros: Works great in my Motorola Razr phone.
Much faster saves when using the camera with this Class 6 memory card instead of the older Class 2 1GB card I had previously.
