5 out of 5 eggsWorks!

Pros: Only have had it for a few days, but so far so good. I don't overclock or whatever, so it just works. That's what I like. BOOM.

Used in an Intel DP43BF (old, outdated, yes I know.) motherboard that is supposedly very picky with ram.

Cons: None that I know of. They even look cool. ;)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stuff !

Pros: Set the voltage to correct setting 1.65 or1.67, then bump timings to 8-8-8-24- 1600Mhz....& Bang for the buck...though I do miss the rebate they were giving...oh well. Great memory!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is my secound set, bought a pair back in 2008 & still running G8! Mate

5 out of 5 eggsMemory

Pros: Speed, price, stability! What more do you want?

Cons: As fast as this memory is, it refuses to get me a Dr Pepper!

Only one con! And thats Newegg. You cant use G O D in your reviews? So now your profiling religious beliefs huh? Shame on you. You get no eggs.

Other Thoughts: Ive been running 2 sticks of this for almost 2 years now and just last week, I ordered 2 more sticks becuase Im now using Win 7 64 bit. I thought thier may be an issue installing newer with the older memory, but no. Not one problem.

Installed, posted, botted. Working like a champ. G od I love this memory. If you do not get this, you are either paying too much or are just lazy! Get this memory! It works!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Overclocked to 1600 with i5 2500k using XMP Profile on Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 motherboard with (almost) no fuss - see Other thoughts. So far, things are stable. Works in tandem with my other ADATA XPG 2x4GB sticks (12GB total).

Cons: None to speak of.

Other Thoughts: Even at default 1333, I doubt you'd see any slowdown. I have my i5 overclocked to 4.0GHz stable with this RAM at 1600. I am by no means an elitist or professional, so for anyone having trouble achieving stability or questions about BIOS settings and voltages, etc, be sure you do your research - meaning, look up your motherboard in relation to this RAM (or other high-end RAM) and BIOS settings. With a little forum assistance, I was able to get set up. And if I can do it, anyone can.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent RAM; Dual channeling causes issues.

Pros: Very good stick of RAM, especially for the price. Runs fine and only crashes to BSOD when I put a heavy load on it (VMs, streaming, videos, etc.).

Cons: When attempting to use dual channeling, the computer refuses to boot. Runs fine when using one stick in each channel, but using two sticks on one channel or four sticks in two channels will cause the computer to fail POST. (See other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: Dual channeling issue may not be with the RAM at all, but rather a compatibility issue with my motherboard or the motherboard itself. I've seen others discussing this same issue, but not necessarily with this product. My motherboard supposedly supports dual channeling, but it's possible there are issues with the physical channels, or, as I said, the motherboard may simply not be compatible with this particular RAM.

1 out of 5 eggsMultiple Bad DRAM - Cannot RMA

Pros: None, have gone through 1 Newegg return after memtest showing errors on first batch in Nov '11, returned and new modules showed none after 5-6 passes. 2 months later windows started to blue screen, dmp file indicating possible mem issue. Memtest now again showing modules having errors. Other memory same slots using same test show no errors after 10 passes.

Cons: Cannot submit RMA via adata site now (past 30 day newegg return window) , their webform indicates "Error!" and nothing else. Cannot get anyone to answer their phone. Never buying Adata again.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic.

Pros: Two years with two sticks running @1600 / 1.6v. Not one issue, ever. Quality and unbeatable price for it. Get these bloody things already.

Cons: They're not self-propagating.

Other Thoughts: I wish they were edible at least.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great price
Low-profile heatsinks,
1600 Speed

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have been running these for a year. Bought a second set after 2 months for 8 gigs total.
Only thing you have to do is change the mobo settings to run at 1600

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Modules, Great company

Pros: This is currently year 2 of having these modules. I have used these every day since they were opened and both work fine. Windows 7 Home Premium x64 runs without problems at all. I will buy from ADATA again.

Cons: Turned out after the first month, one of the modules went bad. I thought the problem was with Windows XP Professional. I didn't know it was the ram until Microsoft support told me to run a memory diagnostic on each module. The first module was working fine with no errors. The second module shocked me. 10,000 errors in the first 10 seconds. I removed that module and RMA'd it instantly. RMA info in Other Thoughts section.

Other Thoughts: Because it was after the 30 day return and replace period, I was worried that ADATA wasn't going to except the RMA. What ADATA did shocked me. They let me return and get a replacement. I only returned one of the two modules in the two module case and they sent a new unopened single module back. The customer support was so easy to work with and I am pleased with the speed that the new module was returned. Overall, the whole process only took 6 days.
