5 out of 5 eggsWhat more could you ask for?

Pros: Plug it in, and it just works, and it works well.

Cons: DDR3 is cheaper.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Quality

Pros: My computer now has 12GB of Ram and I didn't have to buy a new mother board. This makes me feel good inside.

Cons: My computer doesn't seem to use more than 3GB.
The Windows Performance Index didn't increase at all with the additional ram. It seems to be focused on memory speed rather than quantity.

Other Thoughts: DDR3 of similar quantity is cheaper than DDR2. I didn't want to go through the ordeal of throwing out my motherboard and have to buy a new AM3 processor just to get a bit more memory considering my current motherboard can accept an AM3 processor.

5 out of 5 eggsit works!

Pros: I now have 12 GB ram in my PC and my memory score is 7.5

Cons: I didn't get another set to have 16 GB.

Other Thoughts: It's memory, it worked right away, no hassles. Just what I expected

1 out of 5 eggsGoose egg!

Pros: None- DOA -BSOD after less than 10 seconds. Unable to complete boot-up.

Cons: No heat shields. Quality control seems lacking.

Other Thoughts: If your system will support the enhanced memory profile, I recommend the Patriot N82E16820220409 kit- installation was flawless on Gigabyte GA-EP45-UDR.

5 out of 5 eggsMEMORY ROCKS!

Pros: This memory rocks! It does what it says. I'm rocking Vista HP 64-bit. It has absolutely no problems reading the correct amount of memory.

Cons: No heat spreader, and it is more expensive than DDR3 of the same caliber. Too bad my MOBO doesn't take that, but I digress. It is far cheaper than memory of this size was 3 years ago (still pricey)

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this memory to others in the same technology gap as I am. Looking for the slightly aged tech for a budget boost to slightly aged system.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Job

Pros: Nice and Fast

Cons: No Heat Cover

Other Thoughts: More than expected with Windows 7 32bit, bought a 64 Bit just to work with these babies.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Stable 16GB , Rocks!

Pros: I went through my share of "high performance gaming" ram that was barley able to run 2 kits/8GB with relaxed timings. Put in 2 sets of these puppies and run a super stable 16GB DDR2 "quad kit" at advertised timings for $300 (or less on sale). Rocks for 2+ GB files in ram hungry PHOTOSHOP CS5.

Cons: No heat shields: Get them for a couple of bucks.

Other Thoughts: A-Data is my new rock solid ram brand!

5 out of 5 eggsGood Memory for 8GB upgrade!

Pros: Put this pair in a GA-G41M-ES2L (rev. 1.0) MB with an E7400 C2D OC'ed from 2.8 to 3.15GHz (300*10.5). CPU-Z displays both 4096MB sticks @ 6, 7, 7, 22 @ 450MHz. BIOS memory set to "AUTO" and states the same 800/900. Seems to be good. Ran Prime95 for a while and no problems.

Cons: Sticks are at normal height. Had to remove the fan from the AC Freezer Pro 7 cooler, remove older Kingston 2x2GB low height sticks, install these and replace cooler. So it took me an extra 2 minutes!

Other Thoughts: Still running XP Home ... will upgrade to Win7 64bit very soon with 8GB RAM!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: It works! A-Data may not be a well known company, but it works quite well. Some of the cheapest DDR2 I could find for a package of 2 4GB sticks of ram. And although it doesn't have a heat shield it is still slightly overclockable, I have it at 1000 MHz. Am going to buy a second set for a total of 16GB of ram when I get the money. All in all, this is worth it as long as you need DDR2.

Cons: Not DDR3.
