1 out of 5 eggsNope

Pros: Works for a year

Cons: Doesn't work after a year.

Other Thoughts: Just stopped working one day and never worked again. Keep it in my desk to remind me never to order ADATA stuff again.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We are sorry that your 16GB MicroSDHC is not working properly. Unfortunately, DOA does occur from time to time and that is why there is a warranty on our products that covers this issue. Please send it in for an RMA exchange and you will receive a working replacement. The ADATA RMA process is a simple and painless procedure. Please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you,

5 out of 5 eggsThe Price is Right

Pros: Class 10, Reasonable Price, hasn't corrupted yet

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: There is not a whole lot to say about flash memory other than it either works or it doesn't... This one works. And does it read/write as fast as advertised... This one does.

And generally if they work for a while they will continue to work for a while... This one still works after many read/write cycles.

5 out of 5 eggs4 out of 4 working

Pros: Works just fine in HD ip camera. read other thoughts

Cons: Wish was cheaper and 32gb

Other Thoughts: I using this card in HD ip cameras. Purchased 4 of of this sd card for ip cameras They installed just fine and cameras formatted and recorded to this sd card no issue except one. I had mistakenly on one of the cameras set it to recorded full Time. Now they recorded in low format to Sd card so about 13 hours recorded time is just about half a megabyte so not much was used on this card yet some time in the morning about 13 hours into recording the camera froze. When I checked I thought something wrong with camera then when I took sd card out it worked. I retried sd card again same thing it froze so I tried it in another camera and it also froze
To make a long story short I had to reformat the sd card in the computer to get it to work again. For some reason it would not work in camera and would freeze it up, I did a long format to make sure it worked and checked for errors. it formatted really slow.i have usb drives that are much faster. I replaced it back into camera and it worked. A miner glitch I guess but it still happened and it should not have. Anyway it's been working ever since and since everything working now I did not take off a egg.
Will post if it fails again but I doubt it the camera for some reason now works faster then ever. Even faster then the other cameras. I think I may format all the cards in computer maybe it's working better from the long format I used.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Quality Control

Pros: None

Cons: This is the third time I've had to send an ADATA card back for replacement.

The first one just failed and would not read/write. The second one would do the same thing intermittently, and I lost a ton of phone photos.

This third one would not be recognized by any device from time to time, and it would show up as a removable floppy... Also incurred data loss.

I just got the the replacement, and my camera would not record HD video to the new Class 10 card, so I tested it on my computer.

Why am I NOT surprised that the Write speed bogs down on start-up to 0.1 MBytes/sec, and then it averages 6.5 MBytes/sec.? That would be OK if this was a C6 card, but it's not, it's a Class 10. So what gives?

Other Thoughts: The card I just got back from ADATA as an RMA exchange had the package opened, but it came with a sticker that says "ADATA Quality Control Tested" I don't know what they tested, this card is defective to no end!

Their RMA process is archaic where you have to receive a Word Documents, fill it out manually, save it, and email it back to them for an RMA number. That coupled with the fact that I am not sure I'd get a working card, makes me not want to spend the $2 to send this back for a replacement.

This is the LAST time I ever buy or use any ADATA products. If they offer them for free, I'd still have to think about it.
