5 out of 5 eggsVery pleased

Pros: Pretty quick with the XMP profile. Got it up and running at the rated with no effort. I absolutely love the sturdy heatsinks on the ICs, none of that stamped steel nonsense. It's machined aluminum and they are fastened together. I've had other memory kits were you press them down into the DIMM slot and the corners would bend. These memory sticks are built like tanks and stay very cool to boot. They dissipate heat extremely well too. In loads with heavy memory use, I could feel a little heat where the heatsink comes in contact with the memory ICs but very cool to the touch at the top.

Cons: The timings for the highest XMP profile could be a little tighter but when you set lower JEDEC and XMP speeds, the timings are pretty tight, right up there with some of the best manufacturers. On average, all the main timings are 1 or 2 clocks looser by default.

Other Thoughts: The heatsinks do seem to be a bit tall but since I have a H100i, it's not a problem for me but I would imagine if some people go for a low profile air CPU cooler, especially in mATX and mini-ITX builds, you're probably better off going with something else.

It does come with a lot of SPD data as well, 5 JEDEC tables and 7 XMP tables but when you go to just load the XMP profile, these's only 1 which is for 2400 MHz. If you want to use the lower XMP speeds, you have to key everything in manually. I am impressed though, it seems A-Data is really trying to push to get themselves out there with the best of them.

5 out of 5 eggs64 gig adata 2400mhz memory

Pros: Installed it on my ASUS P9X79-E WS LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 SSI CEB Intel Motherboard. Could not get 2400mhz no matter what I tried. Loaded the latest BIOS from ASUS and bada bing bada boom off we went. Running at 2400mhz with no issues. People who comment they can get 2400mhz should check to see if they have the most recent BIOS installed.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Came in perfect condition, nice black pcb. Went into Bios and set the xmp profile and all is well

Cons: The only gripe I have is that I had read a review on this series of memory and was under the impression that it ran at 1T command rate. Now in all fairness it wasn't this very exact model that was reviewed but needless to mention CPU-z says it is actually 2T. Im not going to dock it any eggs for that, but just a thought, I cant actually find any solid information on documented command rate for this particular set

Other Thoughts: As another reviewer mentioned, if people would just do their homework before purchasing memory to verify it is on the support list of their motherboard there wouldn't be any gripes, so none of what they say is valid

5 out of 5 eggsPlease check your motherboard's supported memory list...

Pros: It works for everyone who did their homework.

Cons: People who don't buy compatible hardware...

Other Thoughts: It took me about 30 seconds to find and look at the Asrock z77 board referenced in a bad review about "issues" to see that this memory is NOT on the supported list. Do just a little homework before buying high-end computer hardware. Please.

3 out of 5 eggsHas a few issues

Pros: Runs at the advertised speed of 2400Mhz

Cons: While running at advertised speed will reset before two to three times before booting to windows. After booting will run fine until you're computer goes to sleep. The it will reset the computer when you try to come out of sleep.

Other Thoughts: It runs without a problem at 2133Mhz or 2200Mhz. I have an Asrock Z77 Professional-M which reads the XMP profile and sets it to what the RAM requires. Disappointing however because if I wanted 2133 Ram than I would have bought that for much less. I May try to RMA but the RAM does not appear to be damaged

5 out of 5 eggsNew Information

Pros: Read Other Thoughts

Cons: Read Other Thoughts

Other Thoughts: I wrote a previous review that had knocked the product for the inability to clock up to 2400mhz, it's claim. Neoseeker had the same problem that I did. So here is the correction.

I purchased a new motherboard- Asus Maximus V Extreme. If you select XMP (A profile built onto the ram for running it at their recommended settings, without any hassle) on the Maximus V Extreme, then you will boot right up at 2400mhz.

So- the problem with the clock being unable to reach the advertised speed is dependent on the motherboard. I am not sure why. It could have something to do with supplemental power? (MVE has supplemental power, and my other board did not)

4 out of 5 eggsVery good, but there is someting you should know...

Pros: Fast ram- up there with and around the more popular brands on benches. If you care about WEI, a non-sequitur system for the purpose of most people who would be interested in OC'd ram, then you should be happy- 7.9 in my Ivy Bridge system.

Cons: As stated in the neoseeker review- there is difficulty getting the ram up to 2400mhz, it's advertised speed. I was able to get about half way between 2133 and 2400. It is still fast, but not the advertised speed. (What do you know? A legitimate con for once)

Other Thoughts: This is still good ram, and it performs up there with the big boys. I purchased this ram after seeing a lot of good from Adata. Their bargain 120gb SSD is among the fastest drives I have ever seen, and they seem to be the only company that can get a USB 3.0 stick right. I am glad that I went with this RAM, and I will be buying more from Adata in the future.

Also- I have a high end AMD machine and a high end Intel machine. Ivy Bridge, basically, did all the work for me. I just had to push ever so slightly after booting the XMP profile. My AMD Asus Crosshair Formula V motherboard, of course, had me do the job for myself. I prefer the AMD side, but for those who are not too experienced in overclocking- know that it will be easy to get it running on Intel, and a little more hands on on the AMD side.
