XPG V2 DRAM Modules

Gear Up and Take Command with XPG

The new XPG V2 series are designed for 4th Generation Intel Core Processors and the Z87 platform, featuring colorful and visually striking heat spreaders.

Top of the Line Performance

DDR3 Speeds up to 3100MHz, with timings of CL12-14-14-36 at 1.65V (XMP Profile 1), provide the muscle needed to run the most demanding games and software. The ADATA XPG V2 Series is comprised of an extruded heat sink with increased surface area, providing superior thermo-conductivity, efficiently reducing power consumption and greatly elevating signal completion. An industry-leading 2oz double-copper PCB increases module stability.

Eye-Catching Components

The sharp design of XPG V2 DRAM modules bring out the best of your rig's appearance, without sacrificing the speed you demand. Designed with a futuristic form that will appeal to those who take pride in both the performance and the visual outlook of their high-end systems, this DRAM brings the best of both worlds to high-end gaming systems.

XPG V2

The Highest Standard for Stability and Efficiency

ADATA XPG V2 memory products are made in conformation with JEDEC regulations and DDR3-1333 standards at CL value of 9-9-9-24. Each XPG V2 memory chip is selected through a strict filtering process, complete with high-quality Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and an aluminum heat sink that effectively lowers module temperature, proven to reach a maximum speed of 3100MHz at CL value 12-14-14-36 to make complete use of the computer’s power.

XPG V2

Advanced Heatsink Design for Better Cooling Efficiency

Using Thermal Conductive Technology (TCT) and 2oz Copper 8-layer PCB, the specialized heat sink ensures outstanding stability even when systems are pushed to the limit.

What is DDR3?

DDR3 SDRAM stands for Double Data Rate Three Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory. Compared to DDR2 SDRAM, DDR3 SDRAM delivers higher performance, maintaining lower voltage levels and greatly improving data transfer rates.

ADATA XPG V2 Desktop Memory uses 240-pin standard design. Operating at 3100MHz and 1.5 ~ 1.65 Volts, its transfer bandwidth can reach 24,800MBps (PC3-24800), blazing speed you won’t find elsewhere.

Lifetime Warranty, Quality Guaranteed

In addition to ADATA’s rigorous manufacturing process, we ensure the quality of each memory module. All ADATA memory modules come with a lifetime limited warranty.

*All ADATA memory chips are stringently tested. However, actual performance may vary due to a computer’s motherboard, BIOS version, system configurations, operating system, system components, and other factors. Overclocking or changing the system clock may cause malfunction in some computer system components, and can even invalidate the computer’s warranty. Please read the computer user guide carefully or consult the manufacturer for more information.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as I had hoped

Pros: Free Shipping
Sale Price
Well Reviewed
Newegg !

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I wanted DDR3 2400 mem for my Asrock Z97 Extreme 6. Looked at many modules. These are well reviewed by the guys that bought them and the price was right. The XMP profile loaded with no problems. There have been no freeze ups. The gold color looks nice against the black board.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Great heat sinks. Like the color. Fast memory. Runs a little faster than expected. Great company.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have this memory plugged into an Asus Sabertooth 990 FX R2 Gen 3. Went into the memory profile and bam, memory runs at about 2420. I'm also using the AMD FX 95990 8 core cpu which is running at about 5.117. Machine is running great. I was going to switch over to Intel. But I figure since this machine is running so well, I'll just stick with AMD.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Fast and Works

Cons: None as of yet.
(Size could be a problem for small boards or cramped cases)

Other Thoughts: One year after purchase with daily use and still running.
If you are as impatient as I am, this is for you.
On some older games, the loading screens can be mistaken for a blink of the eye.
Between this 16Gbs RAM and 4Gbs VRAM Skyrim load screens last between 3-5 seconds and that is with multiple mods and texture packs. I DIG IT!!!
FAST.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Kindof

Pros: Worked great on my rig and never used overclocking with my 5th gen I7.

Cons: One of the sticks went out after 6 months and now the second one died. Need to see about warranty replacement. I liked these because they matched the color of my rig and other components just wish they lasted longer than 6 months.

Other Thoughts: Spent $160 on these and would expect them to last longer. Need help on this one.

3 out of 5 eggsWill only run at 1866MHz or lower without errors...

Pros: Looks cool.
Runs cool.
Is awesome when only running at 1866MHz or lower.

Cons: Cannot get it to run at 2400MHz no matter what I do...
Running it on an MSI A88XM Gaming mobo w/ Athlon X4 860.
Tried enabling XMP and the mobo automatically set the chips to 2400MHz, it booted up fine but would randomly crash. So I ran Memtest86+ and found errors. So I dropped it to 2133MHz and still had errors. Dropped it again to 1866MHz and now it runs fine no errors or crashing.

Other Thoughts: Knowing what I know now, prolly would have just saved some money and went with 1600MHz chips...

5 out of 5 eggsnice price, attractive, good stats

Pros: price is great, stats are good, styling is handsome.

Cons: Covers are nice for heat transfer but are a bit tall and may cause clearance issue with large cpu fan/heatsink. Offset large fans a little to allow for clearance, I am using a large Noctua on mine and had to make a slight adjustment.
Stickers would be nicer mounted on opposite side as to not be visible and to show name better after installation, so you dont have to remove them to ruin warranty.

Other Thoughts: not a better deal available

5 out of 5 eggsAdata 16gb DDR3 2400

Pros: Rock solid ram, works at advertised speeds, looks very cool with the gold heat spreaders. Installed these on a new Asus Z97-A mb. After flipping the XMP switch on the board they booted up at 2400 speed and timings 11-13-13-35. Can't get much easier than that.

Cons: Timings could be a little tighter but not an issue at all.
