XPG V2 DRAM Modules

Gear Up and Take Command with XPG

The new XPG V2 series are designed for 4th Generation Intel Core Processors and the Z87 platform, featuring colorful and visually striking heat spreaders.

Top of the Line Performance

DDR3 Speeds up to 3100MHz, with timings of CL12-14-14-36 at 1.65V (XMP Profile 1), provide the muscle needed to run the most demanding games and software. The ADATA XPG V2 Series is comprised of an extruded heat sink with increased surface area, providing superior thermo-conductivity, efficiently reducing power consumption and greatly elevating signal completion. An industry-leading 2oz double-copper PCB increases module stability.

Eye-Catching Components

The sharp design of XPG V2 DRAM modules bring out the best of your rig's appearance, without sacrificing the speed you demand. Designed with a futuristic form that will appeal to those who take pride in both the performance and the visual outlook of their high-end systems, this DRAM brings the best of both worlds to high-end gaming systems.

XPG V2

The Highest Standard for Stability and Efficiency

ADATA XPG V2 memory products are made in conformation with JEDEC regulations and DDR3-1333 standards at CL value of 9-9-9-24. Each XPG V2 memory chip is selected through a strict filtering process, complete with high-quality Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and an aluminum heat sink that effectively lowers module temperature, proven to reach a maximum speed of 3100MHz at CL value 12-14-14-36 to make complete use of the computer’s power.

XPG V2

Advanced Heatsink Design for Better Cooling Efficiency

Using Thermal Conductive Technology (TCT) and 2oz Copper 8-layer PCB, the specialized heat sink ensures outstanding stability even when systems are pushed to the limit.

What is DDR3?

DDR3 SDRAM stands for Double Data Rate Three Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory. Compared to DDR2 SDRAM, DDR3 SDRAM delivers higher performance, maintaining lower voltage levels and greatly improving data transfer rates.

ADATA XPG V2 Desktop Memory uses 240-pin standard design. Operating at 3100MHz and 1.5 ~ 1.65 Volts, its transfer bandwidth can reach 24,800MBps (PC3-24800), blazing speed you won’t find elsewhere.

Lifetime Warranty, Quality Guaranteed

In addition to ADATA’s rigorous manufacturing process, we ensure the quality of each memory module. All ADATA memory modules come with a lifetime limited warranty.

*All ADATA memory chips are stringently tested. However, actual performance may vary due to a computer’s motherboard, BIOS version, system configurations, operating system, system components, and other factors. Overclocking or changing the system clock may cause malfunction in some computer system components, and can even invalidate the computer’s warranty. Please read the computer user guide carefully or consult the manufacturer for more information.

5 out of 5 eggsLove ADATA

Pros: I have had this memory for about a month now and have had no issues. This was on the supported memory list of my Asus a88x-pro motherboard and it works flawlessly. I asked Santa for 2 sets when he asked what I wanted for Christmas for a total of 32GB. The bios read the profile on the memory and applied all of the settings with no problem. Windows 10 x64 home reads the full 32gb which is nice.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have become a huge fan of ADATA over the years after trying their memory when it was on sale a few years back. I use their memory in servers because I was so impressed how reliable it is. Have one set of ADATA memory that has been running 3 years 24/7 on a server and have had no issues. I am so impressed I decided to order an ADATA SSD to see if their SSD's are as good as the memory they sell.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: Simple set-up with an AMD system
Runs efficient even with stock APU fan 2mm away.
Great performance and value for price.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I have an ASUS A88XM-A motherboard and BIOS setup was super simple. I selected DOCP profile 1 and 'DDR3-2400' was displayed and tested true in AMD overdrive. I have never had OC memory more simple. You need to install them 1ea per channel so I bought the 16Gb with two 8Gb cards. I did see it only report 8Gb at first, but that was my failure to get one of the seated properly. Reseated the stick and have had 16Gb since.

5 out of 5 eggsADATA Support

Pros: Excellent support from ADATA. RAM 100% error free.

Cons: Website form submission does not work, had to use email, got response in 1 hour.

Other Thoughts: ADATA offered support and advised to use the open source version of MemTest+ 5.01, not the Passmark version which yielded 3026 errors. The RAM came up error free on all tests. They also had me reseat the DIMMS.

4 out of 5 eggsDoing Okay

Pros: Looks good. Exact model listed on Asus QVL. Runs at 2400MHz on Asus A88XM-E motherboard with AMD A8-7600 Kaveri APU.

Cons: Strange test results.

Other Thoughts: Had one cold boot crash and tested the RAM for 10 hours with Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool, 6 passes in Extended mode, 100% Good. Then tested it with Passmark MemTest86 V5.1.0 and got 3026 errors in one pass. Then tried the AMD Overdrive Stability test for 1 hours and everything is ok, ran the 4 APU cores at 100% for 1hr plus general pc use while it worked. Since Microsoft 7 is what controls the RAM I am sure it will be fine. The system crash is likely due to the AMD dual-graphics just set up.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid RAM

Pros: XMP set up was a breeze on my Asus GENE board with i7-4790K.

Cons: Had one OC failure and BIOS default back to 1600. This was one of my first boots on first day after system build. Since then, though, no issues.

Other Thoughts: This product is solid at its price point. For just a few extra dollars you can get G.Skills Trident X memory at a bit better latency. It's a toss-up value-wise at this speed IMO, but I went with the ADATA to give it a chance. No regrets.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Memory Set

Pros: The pros are that they are automatically set to the 2400 MHz and do not need to be BIOS set, Heatsink keeps the RAM really cool, can work really well with another pair of this item package, and finally can Overclock past 2400 MHz pretty nicely!

Cons: The cons are that they aren't low profile (but to be expected), aren't a true black color that I would like them to be (not really a con), and finally....they cost money. LOL

4 out of 5 eggsWorks!?

Pros: Bought these for the price , and have their own heat dispensers to distribute heat. Tested and got Ram speeds @ 2400mhz ! But my pc has random freeze moments and by random i mean maybe once in a week my pc will freeze. From what I read Its either my Ram or PSU.

Cons: None so far other than it might be causing my pc to freeze to a stand still. But not 100% sure

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Easy

Pros: Installed on MSI Z87-G45 and it booted right up at 1600. Then changed settings to use overclocked 2400 and after a reboot had zero issues. Super fast with zero errors after a couple months.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Check your motherboard website for compatibility before purchasing.
