ADATA XPG V1.0 DRAM meets the demands of these groups, both technologically and aesthetically, and this improved heat sink is a strong step forward in this respect. With sleekly crafted lines reminiscent of the mechanical goliaths found on today’s electronic battlefields, the XPG V1.0 DRAM comes in colors of red, black, and blue, grouped higher to lower according to the respective module frequencies.

The Highest Standard for Stability and Efficiency
The Highest Standard for Stability and Efficiency
ADATA XPG V1.0 memory products are made in conformation with JEDEC regulations and DDR3-1333 standards at CL value of 9-9-9-24 . Each XPG V1.0 memory chip is selected through a strict filtering process, complete with high-quality PCBs (Printed Circuit Board) and an aluminum heat sink that effectively lowers module temperature, proven to reach a maximum speed of 2133MHz to make complete use of the computer’s power.
What is DDR3?
DDR3 SDRAM stands for Double Data Rate Three Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory. Compared to DDR2 SDRAM, DDR3 SDRAM delivers higher performance, maintaining lower voltage levels and greatly improving data transfer rates.

ADATA XPG V1.0 Desktop Memory uses 240-pin standard design. Operating at 2133MHz and 1.5~1.65 volts, its transfer bandwidth can reach 17,000 MB/s (PC3-17000), blazing speed you won’t find elsewhere.
Lifetime Warranty, Quality Guaranteed
In addition to ADATA’s rigorous manufacturing process, we ensure the quality of each memory module. All ADATA memory modules come with a lifetime limited warranty.

*All ADATA memory chips are stringently tested. However, actual performance may vary due to a computer’s motherboard, BIOS version, system configurations, operating system, system components, and other factors. Overclocking or changing the system clock may cause malfunction in some computer system components, and can even invalidate the computer’s warranty. Please read the computer user guide carefully or consult the manufacturer for more information.

5 out of 5 eggsAdata XPG V1.0 4GB DDR3 1600

Pros: Bought this about 4 months ago and it hasn't failed me. This memory is great for the price and it overclocks easy.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggscheap price for the GB's

Pros: I was looking for the lowest cost on 4gb for use with basic office applications (photoshop, MS Office-type stuff) and occasional gaming for my son.
Found this for $40 at the time.

used in MSI FM2-A55M-E33

Cons: What's with the rebates? I bought on 11/27 and I didn't realize that I needed to download the rebate form that very second or else it would be ripped from the internets, never to be seen again. I wasn't going to review or file for a $10 rebate until I had actually had some use on the pc, so to see that the rebate form has been pulled and replaced within 3 weeks is annoying. (today is 12/20)

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Though i had never heard of Adata these sticks perform just as well if not better as the GSkill Ripjaws I had before(still my golden standard for comparing RAM). Heat spreaders also look pretty cool but the standard green PCB sorta ruins the aesthetics(oh well)

Cons: I had to set the timings and clock to 1600 via Intel XMP but that's an issue with my mobo, so not really a con. the standard green PCB underneath the heat spreaders also sorta ruins the aesthetics(oh well)

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these for $25 each AR during a shell shocker and needless to say i'm pleasantly surprised. Still holding up well after a month of intense gaming and CAD applications

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: 9-9-9-24 as advertised

Cons: Need to select 1600 mhz in bios, but that is all

Other Thoughts: Bought 2 sticks for a great price, works great

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Have no visible issues after approx. 1 month of use.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I have a OEM 3rd-gen i5 PC (thinkcentre) that takes 1600MHz DDR3. I wondered if these can run at 1600 with the motherboard and they cannot.

Here's the tip. Faster memories like this one (or most other 1600MHz CAS<=9) uses Intel XMP to specify the top speed. OEM (lenovo, Dell, HP) do not use motherboard that supports XMP. They can only run at 1333. Period.

If you absolutely have to have 1600MHz with your OEM pc, go for the slower ones at CAS=11. Those uses JEDEC speed tables for 800MHz (x2=1600) frequency. Your OEM pc supports that.

Why didn't I return if I can only run these at 1333? Because I feel it wouldn't make a big difference. I now run all my sticks at 1333/CAS=9 instead of 1600/CAS=11.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Good gaming ram at a good price

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Specs check out and no errors. I bought these super cheap with a rebate, so it was totally worth the money for me. I don't know how the other reviewer was getting a different latency. Judging from what he wrote, he was looking at the wrong frequency(685 MHz instead of 800 MHz) In CPU-Z, my latency is 9-9-9-24 @ 800MHz just as advertised.

5 out of 5 eggsADATA XPG RAM

Pros: - Price
- Accurate timings
- Fast
- What's there more to say

Cons: - Heatspreader looks boring.

Other Thoughts: Never heard of Adata before but for the price I decided to take the risk. Well worth it.

@Dan - The reason your tRAS is at 25 is because you running at 1333MHz. Needs to be running at 1600MHz to get tRAS at 24. Try using XMP profile.
