Other Thoughts: I'm an engineer with only 1GB of RAM at work -- system will regularly freeze for 1-2 minutes due to thrashing. After a year, I finally took matters into my own hands. I wanted to buy something that would still be good when I upgrade at home. Decided to go 2x2GB now that it's $200. Great move! No, it's not DDR2-800/PC2-6400 -- but I needed something that would work with a stock Intel i945 mainboard.

Pros: This ram works flawlessly. No surprises. Pop the sticks in and go. My stock intel board detected them as CAS 5 clocked at 667 Mhz with no changes in BIOS settings.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I decided to kick my PC up to 4GB, and these sticks did the trick nicely. No frills. They just work.

Pros: Very stable operation. I'm using it in a server because I do not require ECC or registered memory. It provides rock solid operation in the Intel DG965WH Motherboard.

Cons: Not too many. I guess price is still kind of high. You can get 2x1GB for as low as $60, but 2x2GB still costs almost $200 for quality memory.

Other Thoughts: You'll be happy with this memory if you want stable operation for servers and other uses that do not require unstable, 'turbo' performance or over clocking.

Pros: Very good memory. Very stable - run the computer for one month under heavy memory load. It did not have any memory problems. Does not heat up at all either, at standard specs - even after running non-stop for one month under heavy load. JEDEC compliant runs fine with my Intel G965WH.

Cons: It ain't free.
