2 out of 5 eggsWorked for awhile

Pros: Worked for awhile, nice specs, fast RAM

Cons: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can't believe how terrible their service is, it's almost as bad as DFI's now defunct lanparty customer service was. After over a a year of random restarts I finally found out it was this cursed RAM, tried to setup an RMA, but was told my RAM isn't made anymore so they offered me some garbage RAM instead, I asked for something closer to what I bought and they said to search their site. I sent them two different choices I had that are very close to what I bought (not better, but closer than the signature series was), AND sent them the RAM! Since then I have not gotten a single response. This is deplorable, I can't even walk away from the process at this point since they have the RAM sticks now.

Other Thoughts: Will never buy from them again. 'Lifetime' warranty? Not so much.

1 out of 5 eggsunstable, blue screen of death

Pros: If the memory was stable, it would be a great deal.

Cons: I already had a set of Crucial LANFest RAM (newegg edition) which has worked flawlessly for the three years I've owned it. I wanted to add more RAM so I bought this item. With all 6 gigs installed, it would bluescreen after booting up Windows 7 x64. I removed the Crucial memory and tried just this Patriot memory. Stability was better but I tried to play a FPS game twice; the first time it just crashed, the second time out outright blue screened.

Other Thoughts: system stability is my top priority when buying hardware.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Matt,

We regret to hear that the memory is unstable in your system. Rest assured that all of out memory is backed by a lifetime warranty. To expedite the warranty on your memory, please contact support@patriotmem.com.

Thank You for choosing Patriot!

1 out of 5 eggsA year and a half

Pros: The other 3 work fine. I think that a piece of equipment should last longer than a year and a half of moderate use.

Cons: One of the sticks just died on me.... I had bought 2 packages of this (8GB total) about a year and a half ago, and recently any PC's I had this ram in won't boot into windows...

i tried different motherboards, hard drives, video cards, new windows installs etc... I narrowed the issue down to one stick of ram. No matter which PC I put this stick into, or which slot, it will not boot into windows. I have 3 fully functional computer systems in my house, and when I put this stick into any of them windows will not boot until I put another stick of RAM in.... such a pity.

Other Thoughts: This is a follow up to a previous review

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsWorked till it didn't

Pros: It worked really great for several months.

Cons: Some sectors went bad, no big deal it happens in all memory, just luck of the draw. The problem is that I've contacted Patriot support several times to try and get an RMA number so they can send me some new RAM and they've completely ignored me. I'll update if anything changes, but so far I'm never buying Patriot again.

Other Thoughts: It's a shame really, G.Skill has always been really good about replacing faulty RAM. Maybe I'll just stick with them. Hassle free the way it should be, hell, they even paid for shipping both ways.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
