Blazin fast in RAID0
- Pros: This drive really blazes, im reading 341.1MB/Sec average with two(2) of these in raid0....make sure to use 4k stripes, as to lower stripes are for quicker access, for server like computing. Larger stripes are for keeping large data files such as video and audio files used to professional editing.
- Cons: The SSD conversion plate didn't have enough pre-drilled holes, i had to modify my plastic drive strip clips
- Other Thoughts: If you are going to buy this, might as well get two, the preformance is insane
Blazing Fast
- Pros: Extremely fast. Definitely fixed the "dithering" issue of the previous Warp drives. I have Windows 7 running on this thing and boot speeds are minimal. I'm very impressed.
- Cons: In a few years, I'm gonna laugh at how much I paid for my very first SSD.
- Other Thoughts: I remember a few years ago when SSD's were just starting to make an appearence, people were saying the SLC disks will last a long time, but the MLC disks might not. However, according to the specs, this should last 50 times longer than my Power Supply. I guess the technology got a big boost since I last checked.

- Pros: Super quiet, runs cooler, extremely fast.
- Cons: The price is a little bit high for the size but worth the increase in performance.
- Other Thoughts: Get this!!!!!!! Installed windows vista and 7 in less than 30 minutes with all drivers. Everything happens so fast when starting programs. Less than one minute from the time I click restart until I am back at my desktop. Did I mention FAST.
failed after 1 month
- Pros: fast and silent, good rma customer service
- Cons: died after one month of use.. completely dead, no way to recover data even with professional data recovery tools.. hard drive is no longer even recognized in bios
- Other Thoughts: read good reviews about this drive.. maybe i just got bad luck, but very disappointing that the drive died so soon.. worst part is that all the data is unrecoverable

64 GB Torqx after 3 months
- Pros: Installed 3 months ago (August 3, 2009) in an Acer Aspire 7720-6569 laptop. Detected immediately upon installation. Installed Vista 32 bit with SP 2. Very fast! No stuttering. Came with firmware 1571 (the newest as of November 3, 2009). After 3 months, no degradation in speed or performance. I have not yet nneeded to use the "Performance Refresh" (wiper or trim) tool. CrystalDiskInfo still reports 100% "Remaining Drive Life".
- Cons: Still a little pricey, but considerably better than a year ago. I can't subtract an egg for that, since I knew the price when I bought it.
- Other Thoughts: If I had more ready cash, I would buy another for my other notebook. The thing you should most look for in an SSD is upgradable firmware with support for trim, or if you are not running Windows 7 (which has native trim support), look for the manufacturer to have their own"Performance Refresh Tool", as Patriot does, or other manufacturers call it a "Trim Tool", or "Wiper Tool".
