5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM

Pros: No problems at all with this RAM. Works great with the dual socket 1366 Intel server board I used.

Cons: It would only operate at 1066 with the Intel board I used, but based on how weird the rest of that board is, I don't think its a problem with the RAM. It's a server and the difference will not be noticeable.

Other Thoughts: Would not hesitate to buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsClarifying "Lost Ram"

Pros: It works

Cons: Its not cheaper than it is.

Other Thoughts: Just to clarify the other reviews, the Supermicro MB steals 1GB of ram for PCI shuffling. It may grab 2GB if you have the 2nd CPU bank populated. I'm not quite sure what triggers it, but its in the user manual.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: Memory works perfectly at advertised speed. Passes MemTest with no issues. It is currently in use in an office server that is used for very demanding tasks and has been working well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The last reviewer is incorrect about the Supermicro motherboard. The memory is not officially supported by Supermicro, however, I am using the exact same motherboard model (X8DA3-O) in two servers I have built, both running 12gb of this memory (two of these 6gb packs in each box) and the full 12gb is recognized on both machines, with no problems at all. I would consider having your memory or mobo RMA'd if your only seeing 10gb...

5 out of 5 eggsGood ram with the right motherboard

Pros: Bought two kits, 12GB total. Ran at claimed speed, 1333Mhz. ECC Registered. Not much to say here since I only had it for a couple days. All six sticks successfully passed [one] memtest pass.

Cons: Not compatible with SUPERMICRO MBD-X8DA3-O. BIOS only detects 10240MB of RAM--one stick always goes undetected.

Other Thoughts: Good ram, naughty board.
