Every computer needs more memory, unless you've filled all your slots. Generally speaking, you always need more. No matter what you have, or if you're building something new, memory is vital. Usually, the more you have, the better the computer will perform. Just make sure you have the "right stuff."
Designed specifically with gamers in mind the Patriot Extreme Performance (EP) Enhanced Latency Line of system memory is engineered to increase overall performance. With Patriot's uniquely designed lightweight aluminum heat-dispersing shields, the memory can be overclocked to your heart's content and not overheat within your computer.
Patriot's DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) module is perfect for adding to your computer's performance. Running at 800MHz, these modules are already primed for power. High performance gaming machines will get the most out of this advanced memory. Two of these modules will provide such a huge boost that you may not want to remember what it was like before you added it to your system.

Excellent Ram
- Pros: Fast, great looking, no need to adjust voltage on non-gaming motherboard. Works well with similar patriot extreme ram I already had. Order to Door Step in 3 days.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I was running 4GB of Patriot Extreme Ram with the same specs and timings. I think the only difference between the 2 different style dimms is the heat spreader design. Upgrading to 8GB was as simple as popping the 2 new dimms in and starting the machine up. I was worried that on a more basic Intel Micro-ATX board I was going to have voltage issues. Everything works great!
Works Great
- Pros: I have been running 8 Gig of this memory in a AM2+ Gigabit mother board with an AMD - Phenom X4 810 cpu (GA-MA790GP-UD4H mother board). It has been perfect at the stock voltages and speeds running windows 7-64.
- Cons: None
