Pros: Never any issues.Discontinued now,Wish I could still find it. Doesn't run at speed advertised but I think it was a compatibility issue with my motherboard.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor poor ram

Pros: Nice looking, great heatsinks if they don't fall off.

Cons: I suggest everyone stay away from this ram. Very high failure rate. I'd say that almost 100% of the time there is some sort of problem with this ram either DOA, breaks before a month or impossible to get it to run at atvertised speeds. I steer all my clients away from it. Poorest ram if have ever encounted. Limited instuctions for newbies to actually get the ram to run at 1066.

Other Thoughts: Remember it's 2.1 volts.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank You for your valuable feedback. Please rest assured that our failure rate on this item is actually very low. We regret to hear that it sounds like you've had trouble with this in the past. Please be aware that all of our memory is 100% hand-tested to ensure compatibility and functionality. For future reference, if you in need of any technical assistance we'll be glad to help.

Sincere Regards,

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Been using 8 gigs of these for 5 months, no real problems. Rebate came without issues.

Cons: Couldn't get them to run at 1066 while overclocking, see below.

Other Thoughts: I had to under-clock and over-volt (900mHz, 2.2v) for stability while over-clocking my system. I'm not sure if this was a limitation of the Ram or motherboard, but I was able to squeeze another 150mHz out of my quad core using this ram over my DDR2 800.
However they did work at advertised speed and voltage when not over-clocking. So if you're just looking for solid, fast DDR2 1066, I highly recommend these.

3 out of 5 eggsNot 1066mhz...

Pros: Does what I need it to do.

Cons: Won't operate at the 1066mhz but only at the 800mhz.

Other Thoughts: I've not taken any action with Patriot to find the fix for this, but we all know that RAM is just one of those stick-it and forget-it upgrades, but not these!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear WASP,

If you are having any issues obtaining the rated speeds pf the memory we'd like to help. Please shoot an e-mail to: support@patriotmem.com and one of our knowledgeable support reps will be glad to assist you.

3 out of 5 eggswishfull thinking

Pros: The heat sinks work as specified

Cons: refuses to work at 1066, only the default 800mhz, i flashed my motherboard bio but it didnt do anything. blue screens after 3mins running even at correct timing and voltage.

Other Thoughts: this is a side note, but i chose this ram rather then other ram that cost less, for the futuremark bundle. and despite trying to enter the code dozens of times it still says the number is already active. leading me to beleive someone somewhere along the way opened the box and re sealed it.... newegg ive bought thousands of dollars of stuff from ya and im getting burnt on software keys?

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please rest assured that all of our memory is backed by a lifetime warranty. 1 out of 5 eggsGarbage...

Pros: They lasted a couple weeks...

Cons: As my previous review stated the heat-sinks fell off which i fixed. When i got em the test was good no problems then i started getting blue-screens a couple days ago with the error MEMORY_MANAGEMENT so i did another test, failed in 1 min in...

Other Thoughts: I will never ever get patriot memory again, always G.Skill every memory chip Ive bought from them is still ticking to this day, and they have awesome customer support.

Cant believe i wasted $100 on this garbage...

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGood Memory

Pros: It works, it doesn't go boom.

Cons: Doesn't show up as the full 4 in 32-bit OS's (though I knew that already)
Doesn't make me food.

Other Thoughts: Be nice to it and the heatsinks won't fall off. Mine didn't.

4 out of 5 eggsGood so far

Pros: They look cool, Work at 1066 speeds AFTER you set it up in your BIOS.

Cons: Timings are stupid, 2-2-3-5??? What the heck? My motherboard cannot go any lower then 3 (Reading these from the instructions that came with it) So i set it to 5-5-5-15 which i believe what it was supposed to be have not had any problems so far.

Out of the box the heat spreader broke off... OUT OF THE BOX! Luckily i have adhesive strips and i put them back on but still this does not excuse Patriot for not putting them on correctly.

Other Thoughts: Used with a ASRock 775 Motherboard.
