Patriot 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model PSD38G1333SK

Pros: Been using these for well over a year now in an Acer Travelmate 8172T laptop. No problems whatsoever.

Cons: Not really a con, but my laptop is only able to use 800mhz on these sticks because of the slow 1st gen i3 ultra low voltage CPU.

Other Thoughts: I got these when they were on sale back in December 2011 for around $40. Plus I also got another $20 rebate back from Patriot.

I cannot believe how expensive RAM is right now compared to 2011-2012. I hope the prices go down again soon. I'd feel ripped off buying these now.

Pros: stable, quick, cheap.

Cons: eh

Other Thoughts: not much else to say on this one. price to performance approved

Pros: Value price point (with rebate), second kit passed memtest

Cons: First kit purchased had a dead module that wouldn't allow my notebook to POST if it was in either socket.

Other Thoughts: DOA happens with PC components, so I dinged them an egg and moved on. The replacement set passed memtest with flying colors and has worked perfectly since then. I have had perfect success with Patriot components up until this, so it wouldn't stop me from buying their products in the future.

Pros: good memory

Cons: pros.

Pros: Have it for a week now, works great right out of the box. Comes in a easy-open casing. I felt it kinda faster than stock memory.

Cons: nothing yet....Did try windows memory diagnostic no problems at all...

Other Thoughts: 20$ after rebate is a great price for 8GB chips

Pros: Bought this for a Toshiba C650D-02Q with an AMD processor. Pluged in, bios recognized. Windows 7 Score for memory was 5.6 now 7.1

Cons: The memory was stuck tight in that little plastic package but I prevailed.

Pros: Easy to install, Great value at time of purchase.

Cons: None

Pros: DELL M6400 Memory works great!

Cons: None

Pros: I have heard generally good reviews about Patriot and was specifically encouraged to purchase it as it was a reliable RAM choice.

Cons: Not for my laptop however. The laptop wouldn't fully boot with the RAM installed. Updated my BIOS and everything to no avail.

Pros: The memory ran faster and quicker than the stock memory in my HP 8560w. There was a definate performance difference with the upgrade.

Cons: The laptop would become 6-10 degrees hotter than with the stock ram. I replaced this ram with 2x4gb of PNY 10666 1333mhz and the temps returned to normal. The laptop literally became a pain and unpleasant to use on a regular basis, MY ADVICE stay away from this memory if you are running a workstation or otherwise higher temperature more powerful machine. I was seriously upset about how uncomfortable this ram made my laptop to use. My temps on high performance would run no lower than 56 c idle. Now as i type this review, my temps are 45 c with the PNY 10666 2x4gb 1333. More Advice GET WATER-COOLED HEAT-SINKS :(((
