Give your gaming PC more muscle with Patriot Gamer G2 Series memory, which is specifically designed for the second Intel Core processor & Intel 6 series platform. Crush your enemies and jump to the top of the scoreboard!

One of the quickest ways to turn your computer into a gaming beast is to install powerful memory. Patriot understands this fact and offers hardcore gamers the efficiency and performance with this premium low-profile memory kit, which is built using high-quality pre-screened IC and rigorously tested. You'll appreciate the high capacity of 8GB shared between two DIMMs, allowing you to double the data transfer by taking advantage of dual channel technology.

Furthermore, every gamer knows that heat slows down performance. Patriot understands this, which is why an extruded aluminum shield is equipped. You'll appreciate the 1.65V low voltage for lower internal temperatures and easier overclocking. Own this memory today and frag your opponents every day!

  • newegg Patriot Gamer Series DDR3 SDRAM Optimized and predefined for the next generation platform, the Patriot Gamer G2 Series DDR3 SDRAM module is rated at 1333MHz 9-9-9-24 to enormously increase performance levels of the entire platform.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Ram

Pros: - recognized right away
- working well 3 plus years
- delivers its performance

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I used this on a amd build, the fact that its marketed for intel seems like pure marketing giberish to me, don't worry about that.

3 out of 5 eggsWell, it USED to work...

Pros: It worked amazingly for 2 years.
Easy to overclock (however I did not [I don't trust myself])

Cons: It should last more than 2 years... I think.
Didn't even just die all of a sudden, I just slowly kept getting the error "0xc0000005" in my games.

Other Thoughts: Was amazing for the two years that it worked, but then it died without giving an error or anything. My mobo didn't beep thanks to the errors or anything.

2 out of 5 eggsFaulty RAM

Pros: One module worked.

Cons: Only one moduled work, while one module was bad right out of the package. Causing computer to beep, then random freezes prior to BIOS coming up. When computer does come up windows would show 4gb as usable and 4gb as hardware reserve. This problem had me searching the internet for two days. Finally tried one module at a time and one came up bad. Installed gskill ram from my other computer into this new build and it came right up with all 16gb usable in windows.

Other Thoughts: First time trying Patriot ram. Does not make me feel confident about trying them again. Just ordered a pair of 4gb gskill. I will trying RMA with Patriot to see how it goes.

1 out of 5 eggsI've never been more disappointed...

Pros: Works? ish...

Cons: This memory is such trash that if you try to run more than one program at a time, they all crash. Memory errors ensue.

I obviously should have payed a little more for something a little nicer.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy. You'll thank me

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM, buying more

Pros: Cheap, easy to overclock, low profile

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this RAM in late 2012 to be used in my gaming computer that I was building. It is low profile and works under my Hyper 212 Plus. The RAM generally seems fast already but was very easy to overclock to 1600 MHz with my ASRock Fatal1ty P67 motherboard. I have an Intel Core i7-2600 overclocked to 4.10 GHz and a Zotac GTX 570, also overclocked. I only have two of my four RAM slots filled, so I plan on buying two more to total 16 GB 1600 MHz RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent memory

Pros: Bought 2 sets of the Gamer 2. They have been running in my build for just over a year without a problem. They are fast, cool, good-looking and low profile. All 4 installed along with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus with little conflict - probably will have to remove the fan to extract the stick from channel 4. Finally, a lifetime warranty.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Submitted 3 rebates to Patriot for this memory. Patriot processes the rebates quickly and without fuss: they came within 3 weeks.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid RAM

Pros: Very Quick even @ 1333MHz
Doesn't get hot
Cheap
Lifetime warranty

Cons: Reliability

Other Thoughts: 1 Stick crapped out after 5 months. RMA. Patriot took it back and sent me a new one no questions asked. My only gripe is that I had to pay shipping to send it to patriot. Still good ram.

1 out of 5 eggsBad experience

Pros: Patriot is a well-known brand.

Cons: Caused a new-build computer to boot in a loop. Did normal troubleshooting steps - no peripherals, one stick of RAM at a time in different slots, etc. Symptoms of a bad motherboard or power supply. Replaced power supply, replaced motherboard; no results. When I replaced the RAM the system booted right up. Never thought both sticks of this Patriot memory would be bad. I was a Patriot user and advocate for a long time - now I'm a skeptic.

Manufacturer Response:
