3 out of 5 eggsGood ram bad price now.

Pros: It works well in my friend's machine

Cons: I don't really need to belabor the insane unjustified pricing of ram in the last year or so, but it's outrageous and a ripoff. Good thing I bought tons of this over a year ago when it was a third the price, there's no good justification for this when desktops are still being used as much as they ever were according to all reports. People are using mobile in ADDITION to desktops, not INSTEAD of them.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Worked

Cons: 1 module died after 8 months of light use

5 out of 5 eggsVERY FAST RAM!

Pros: Very affordable ram. Paired with a i5 3570k and I get a 7.9 rating on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Runs everything pretty fast. I also like the design that it has.

Cons: Ram is not supported by my suxy motherboard (asrock z75 pro 3) but I manage to get it working. Doesn't count for an egg though!

1 out of 5 eggsTHROW AWAY MEMORY

Pros: They were cheap and 1 set came free when ordering the motherboard so I ordered a second set. Fast Customer service response for RMA

Cons: When building system would have random shut downs. When doing a memory test you had to test each stick individually other wise it would not fail the memory test. Sent back for RMA to Patriot. They did respond quickly and were very nice. See other thoughts

Other Thoughts: I sent in my rma 2 weeks ago and no return yet. I sent the package certified mail and I have not got the card back that it has been recieved. The worst part is the second set is now having errors and needs to be RMA'ed for the same thing (random shut downs) but I need the other memory back before I can do that.

I will say I have bought Patriot memory before and had no problems but I believe in the the King of Blue brand with an X. I will eventually upgrade to the Hyper stuff.

1 out of 5 eggsDont not buy any patriot memory

Pros: Cheap

Cons: I bought a sabertooth MB with this memory as a combo that came with 2x4 GB sticks. So I ordered two more 2x4 Gb sticks so I could have a total of 16G. Within the first week one stick went bad. 4 days ago another went bad, leaving me 8gb. Then this morning my computer would not boot. Pulled one memory stick out and it booted just fine. I pulled the good out and stuck the bad one in just to make sure, and that computer would not boot at all. Pulled the bad stick out and put the last good one in and it started just fine. A couple of years ago I had the same problem with patriot memory and swore i would never use them again i bought Corsair as a replacement and never had an issue. But I gave patriot a second chance when I built this new rig a couple of months ago but it does not seem like anything has changed, and that second chance is all used up. I ordered 16gb of corsair this morning from newegg. looking forward to have a stable system.

1 out of 5 eggsbipolar of a ram

Pros: -worked for an amd system

Cons: -for some reason it would pass memtest and when i switched systems
it decided to fail within 2% of memtest
-set it at 1.65v and motherboard already placed the correct ram timings
-Its advertised to work for intel systems but thats just to advertise this product...worked better with an amd system ill tell you what. But still got some headaches with my previous amd system because one day itll decide to work, the next day gave bsods

Other Thoughts: well requested an rma last night and ill be waiting for a reply soon.
Im just thinking about switching brands possibly to gskill sniper looks decent and i like how their customer support is really good. Their 1866 ram uses 1.5v and how does this one take 1.65v without even overclocking. This is redunk

Manufacturer Response:

Hi George,

I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with getting the memory to work. I'll be glad to assist you with some setup timings. Please e-mail me: support@patriotmem.com.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Could not resist the free offer purchase. which I bought my 1st Biostar mobo. All benchmarks passed and performed well.

Cons: Gamer memory for use on business PC

Other Thoughts: Used this memory for a Business Pc. No complaints here. Just wish I could have seen the performance with a gaming build.

1 out of 5 eggsJust my luck

Pros: The price was great.

Cons: I got what I paid for. Got two sticks, one doesn't work right out of the box. I was piecing together a system and by the time I got everything and started putting the system together I had had the memory for 6 weeks, 2 weeks past the return deadline. It sucks to be me.

Other Thoughts: Test the memory when you get it because there's a good chance it will be DOA.

Manufacturer Response:
