3 out of 5 eggsPoor customer service.

Pros: This is the second time I purchased a set of this ram. First was back in December and I got a bad stick which I am still trying to get a new stick under warranty. The second set has been thoroughly checked with memtest and works great. Good bargain if you can find it on sale.

Cons: Been trying since Jan 3 2016 to get a replacement for bad stick. All I get is a message RMA IN PROGRESS. How hard can it be to just mail me another stick and I will return the bad one?

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, and it worked.

Pros: Very inexpensive.

Cons: Heat spreader in two pieces, seems glued to the side? I don't see any cons to cheap, workable memory.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, for the price doing a cheap build for a relative, this was perfect. Posted, booted and works fast enough for most applications. No frills, saves the bills.

4 out of 5 eggsNot sure who to ding

Pros: - works so far, no memory test errors

Cons: - is NOT recognized as PC 1600 memory by my Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H motherboard. For my uses 1333 Mhz is OK. This motherboard and chipset are intended for conservative use, so perhaps that's why Gigabyte says 'check out our certified (but unsourceable) memory list'. OTOH the Patriot memory may just barely meet nominal specifications.
Still disappointed ....

Other Thoughts: - More terrible shipping process by NewEgg. This Super EggSaver delivery was fumbled by the USPS for four days between two cities only five miles apart. Seven day delivery commonplace that was formerly two to three.
- Moreover, it was packed only in a padded envelope which is NOT ACCEPTABLE for fragile memory modules in a wimpy plastic overpack. By contrast a small, lightweight Ethernet cable was shipped in a (needlessly oversized 16x12x5) cardboard box.
- The USPS uses smaller boxes for lightweight shipments - please use them, NewEgg!!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Memory

Pros: Bought this for my first computer build in 2012, and hasn't skipped a beat since. Ran through Memtest86 with flying colors, ranked very well on PassMark 8 and Novabench.

Cons: The fact that I didn't buy two kits.. The timings may be slow compared to other memory similar, but I haven't noticed that big of a difference.

Other Thoughts: I'm wondering if this memory can run at 1866MHz with my new APU, but I don't want to destroy this memory. Playing it cautious until I get confirmation from somewhere.

~Seriously, I should have bought two..
