5 out of 5 eggsNifty!

Pros: It was inexpensive, it has low profile heatsinks, it works great with Z77 mobo and i5-2500K.

Cons: Is discontinued as I write this review?

Other Thoughts: Had to manually set to 1866 in BIOS, of course. WEI = 7.9

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with ASUS AMD+ CPU and Board!

Pros: Great ram with a great price. Works with my AMD+ 8-core CPU and M5a990x Asus board. As mentioned before, these default to a slower speed but you can easily correct this in the BIOS.

Cons: I think the "Only for X79" scares people to the point they don't buy this as much but this worked for me just fine. Happy with my purchase!

Pros: Bought this for a customer of mine. Loved how it fired right up at 1866 and didn't have to do any trickery to get it running at the specified speeds.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Got mine, it works great in my motherboard, no real problems but...

Cons: I am a little new to building desktops and i did have to "overclock" this to get it to run at 1866. Not a fault of the RAM, not really a fault of the motherboard. I am however new to the whole overclocking stuff so i was a little worried about doing this at first.

It's all worked out well in the end however.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for my 990FX

Pros: It works! "Only compatible with Intel X79 chipsets" really scared me but it works great.

Simple design and low profile
Runs perfectly in Dual Channel on 990FX
Quad-channel (if you have it)

Upgraded from 4gb G.skill 1333mhz. The difference is..... pretty sweet.

Cons: Other than me seeing it say "Only compatible with Intel X79 chipsets" after i ordered it. I don't like being nervous about a purchse.

Other Thoughts: Sabertooth 990FX and all 990FX boards i'm pretty sure only will run ram at 1600mhz without overclock. So i had to OC FSB to 233mhz from 200. Which gave me the 1866mhz speed i was wanting but also overclocked my PII 960T (5cpu) to 3.5ghz.

Before i upgraded i was hitting 4GB cap while playing BF3 and Watching HD video playback. Now i'm no where near and wanting to get a third monitor to do even more with.
