Other Thoughts: I keep two flash drives synched so if one goes out, I'm not out of business, since I used them for bench work at my computer store.

In the time I've owned this one, I've had three flash drives from one manufacturer, and two from another, come and go.

As you know - or should know - solid state drives (SSD) have a limited lifetime based on the number of times the memory cells charge and discharge (which is why you don't defrag them and eat up those limited number of charge/discharge cycles! Which is also why you don't use them for data storage - OS and reinstallable programs only on SSDs!)

To avoid running out the limited number of charge/discharge cycles, I alternate the flash drive I use on any particular day from the one I used the day before. This is a Best Practices rule.

So as you can see for yourself, if this flash drive is outlasting the others - 5 in all! - then it must be superior in its materials and/or manufacture.

Get this one, and it will last.

Get two, and you'll have an immediate replacement so that your business or job tasks don't die - even if the flash drive does.

And don't forget to run a backup regularly on your flash drive and keep them synched - because all flash drives will die without any warning whatsoever.

So because it is a question of when - this flash drive is the way to win!

Pros: I works well for all my Win 7 and Linux system except my Win 7 64 pro laptop (HP Probook 4730s). In this laptop is causes OS crash - bsod. So far HP solution to a problem is reinstall OS - they do not want even to look at core dump.
This is definitely system problem (intel motherboard + Win 7 64 pro)

Cons: none

Pros: It is a fine usb 3 flash drive while it works. First one lasted about 2 weeks and PC would take a long time to even see it and R/W times died off considerably. Got another from Patriot (painless process - good service). It is now dead after a month. Spend the money and buy the Corsair (red and black, can't remember model #) It is FAST on both R/W

Cons: doesn't work for long

Other Thoughts: but something else - Corsair or Adata have been fine

Pros: It's small, sleek, and extremely shock resistant. Never have to worry about it being dropped. It's transfer speed were within my expectations.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: The LED light was red. Not a really big con but I'd thought the LED would look better if it were blue like my Patriot Xporter. Still love it though.

Pros: Fast, durable, works great as advertised.
Good deal for 32GB and rugged design

Cons: The rubber cap will most definitely get lost as it does not stay attached to the flash drive.

Pros: None, came apart the first day.

Cons: Total junk. After I pulled it out of the PC, the outside rubber molding slipped off, exposing the circuit board. Getting it back in was a chore, and it simply felp apart again. Will send back asap.

Other Thoughts: Terrible waste of time, will never buy anything from Patriot again.

Pros: fine when it works

Cons: both worked well when received. after a few weeks it took a long time for my PC to see that the drive was hooked up.
Speeds died off. Other patriot models have worked well but these aren't up to snuff

Pros: Much MUCH faster than my Patriot Rage XT 2.0

2 gig movies transfer onto it in a matter of seconds

Cons: Only registered as 29.4 gigs

Other Thoughts: I have already recommended this flash drive to all of my friends and family.

Pros: I've always liked the Rubberized Patriots, and this one is the same high quality. These are about 150% faster than advertized with FAT32. Sorry, didn't try NTFS, but I'll be doing many rewrites to the drive and don't have any big(4+GB) files to store on this one. It wrote a single 3.1GB ISO at 45-50MB/s from an intel 330 SSD and wrote it back at 140-160MB/s!! And that's with FAT32! Wow.

Cons: None so far, but I will update if any show up.

Other Thoughts: It is writing my software project drive (173,500 files, 12.4GB, 1730,000 are less than 1MB) at less than 1MB/s :( ... but that's the nature of large numbers of small files, especially on FAT32. I'm sticking with FAT32 for drive longevity as this will be a project drive and will have massive number of rewrites. Updating files on NAND chips (SSD or Flash-drives) mean the file system erases the file first, so FAT32 is recommended. If you are writing files to the drive once and reading it many time, then NTFS is fine. Most of my Flashes are NTFS.
