Pros: Capless, USB 3.0, Great Performance & Durability.. It's an excellent choice when you happen to get a good, non-defective drive.

Cons: Bulkier design. It can be hard to have one of these drives and use the USB port right next to the one currently in use. Patriot quality control is lacking lately.

Other Thoughts: I've owned one of these drives for a long period of time and have been very happy with how it performed and held up to the daily abuse that I put it through as a technician. (I probably shove it in a USB port at least 15 times per day.) I recently ordered two more as I was very pleased with the first one that I bought early last year. However, I was very disappointed as it took 6 tries to get 2 functional drives with a sturdy USB head. Initially the first 4 drives that were sent to me were extremely loose in this area. After comparing it to the first drive that I’ve owned, it did not meet the quality of Patriot that I have expected. 48 hours after receiving the last set of non-defective drives, one of them quit being recognized and would no longer show up on any system. That put the nail in the coffin for me with the whole situation and I just returned them both. I cannot afford to waste my time with these drives anymore. My guess is that the quality control team is missing a bunch of these bad drives or they are going cheaper on the manufacturing process compared to last year. As of right now, I would no longer recommend these drives (at least until a new batch arrives at the warehouse, hence why they are currently on sale for cheap.)

Pros: Good transfer speeds and high capacity. USB3.0. Solid construction.

Cons: Has lost the filesystem 3 times on me now, forcing me to format it and lose everything on it. I back up frequently, so usually no huge loss, but still not really acceptable. Not as bad as the old corsair survivor's that the controller would suicide and leave the device as a paperweight, but still a nuisance.

Cover that slides forward does not protect dirt from getting inside the usb connector, so that little slider is pretty useless.

Other Thoughts: Works fine for the most part. Just keep everything backed up somewhere else. Only suitable as a file transfer drive, dont try to use this as a backup device!

Pros: No cap, rubber skin, 64 gig USB 3 very fast in USB 2 ports as well. Made it into a all purpose 64 bit bootable WinPE drive. Patriot quality memory.

Cons: None

Pros: I just sent this usb stick thru the washer and dryer on accident. All files are still on the stick, and read and write speed did not suffer, I am happy!

Cons: No cons!

Pros: I can steal files much quicker and less noticeable
than ever before off friends, family and enemy computers.
This thing rocks.

Cons: I have to plug it in. I wish it was wireless.

Other Thoughts: It's still a 2.0 world but this card is still quicker with 2.0 using backward compatibility. So it's win win. Someday this card will even be faster than when you first purchased it. Well that just freakin rocks. Can't wait till the computers i steal files from get the 3.0 upgrade. They will blink and files will be in had.

Pros: Large, Fast, No Cap, all as expected. Drive performs to spec and is smaller than many of the original round of high-cap USB 3 drives. Rubber-like coating feels nice, and the build seems solid.

Cons: None

Pros: Portable USB 3.0 64GB stick with fast read/write times.

Cons: Didn't come with a keychain lanyard.

Other Thoughts: As a constantly moving Network/Helpdesk Admin, I always carry a USB stick with me for those "Hey, I need this program on my computer" moments, which happen multiple times a day. 128GB sticks always seemed to be overkill, but 32GB never held what I needed, so 64GB has always been my sweet spot. Finding a stick that fits in my pocket and reliable has always been difficult, let alone one that is capable of USB 3.0. This stick shines like no other. It's fast, average 130MB/s read / 50MB/s write (1GB file). Very happy with this purchase so far.

Pros: Super fast and lots of room.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Best USB thumb drive I have had.

Other Thoughts: I bought this thumbdrive for speed and it does not disappoint.

I wanted to get an idea of how much faster this USB 3.0 drive is compared to my 16GB SanDisk Cruzer USB 2.0 thumb drive. I transfered a 180MB file (Nvidia graphics driver 306.23) from my hard drive to both of these thumb drives. It took 44 seconds to transfer to my Cruzer and only 5 seconds to transfer to the Rage XT using a USB3.0 port. What really suprised me was that when I plugged the Rage XT into my USB 2.0 port the same transfer only took 8 seconds. This is a very fast thumb drive.

This is the only USB3.0 thumb drive that I own so I do not know how it compares to other USB3.0 thumb drives, but its certainly way faster than my Cruzer. I love it.

Pros: The drive has a slide-out mechanism instead of a cap - every drive should do this. It's certainly fast and cheap for the size

Cons: Nowhere near advertised speeds. Reads and writes max out at 70 MB/sec and 43 MB/sec. The only reason I purchased this was the supposed 180 MB/sec read speeds - I assumed they were overstated but by 2.5 times? Ridiculous.

This drive is no faster than any other USB3 drive you'll find of this capacity. Very disappointing. And yes, I have fully updated drivers for my motherboard and other USB3 devices can push much more data on this board than the Patriot stick.

Our advertised results are based off of the Intel X79 Platform using ATTO and Crystal Disk Mark (1000MB) benchmarks as our test bench.
