CAS latency is in line with even lower speed sticks. No sacrifices made here. Cons: - None. Other Thoughts: - Make sure your motherboard chipset allows you to utilize RAM speeds above 2133 (Z170, X99), otherwise you might as well opt for a cheaper kit. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. I updated to the latest bios for the motherboard and at first it would only report half the ram installed (16GB vs 32GB). Have it at very loose timings and 2800mhz, even though it is rated for 3000mhz. This morning it was only reporting 24GB. Not sure what is going on but I am not impressed. Everything else is set to stock speed. Other Thoughts: I have had many sets of Patriot memory before and this is the first set I have had any problems with. 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you?
