Pros: Great product while it worked. Read my cards while it worked

Cons: After 3 months, my cards could not be read. Windows 10 went through a number of updates on my desktop. I went to the ROSEWILL website to see if there is a driver update file for this reader. Very strange. The website reports, "There are no downloads for this product.". Not a good way to support customers by abandoning them with a useless unit. When I brought this reader, the spec showed Window 10 support. ROSEWILL shows no Windows 10 support. Really unfair. By the way. I should have listened to the reviews where other users had the same problem. The others that claimed no issues with this reader, I wonder if they were using Windows 10 with this reader.

Other Thoughts: If the product claims Windows 10 support when purchased, I expect this reader to work under Windows 10. Simple as that.

Pros: Reader offers easily installation and ability to read all the memory cards We own for older and modern cameras, phones and mp3 players. Card insertion is positive once you figure out orientation.

Cons: Started getting temperamental on our windows 7 system a few months in; where it wouldn't recognize a card being inserted until a reboot. Now reboots dont help and the card reader seems dead. the USB passthrough hub still works but the card reader slots dont respond at all when a card is inserted

Other Thoughts: Great device for as long as it worked.

Pros: I see the reviews are less than favorable, but I'd had no problems with mine in the year I've had it. I've never had a problem reading SD and MicroSD cards and the USB ports are used daily by me.

Cons: The one thing I found annoying is that if you insert a cart in a slot on the bottom row you have to insert it upside down.. not a big deal but sorta weird.. but that's the only way the contacts line up.

Pros: I has a lot of ports and has an extra usb.

Cons: It has already broken it has a power light but when you put a card in it does not recognize that anything has been inserted.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill cheap and some what hit or miss.

Pros: Has worked in Linux without a hitch for 5 years.

Cons: Every time I open the case, or sometimes move it to a new location, the faceplate falls off. It's quite annoying.

Other Thoughts: I have used the USB port for flash drives and charging a phone. I've also used the SD slot and the Micro SD slot. I've not used the other slots.
A better choice may have been something with just the SD and Micro SDs, and 2 USB slots. But this works well enough.

Pros: Easy installation. Works as advertised.

Cons: none yet

Pros: Price is great, but not if ports die in less that 30 days.

Cons: SD port quit before 30 days of use, others still working....for now!!!

Other Thoughts: Pay a few bucks more and pick another vendor.

Pros: None... It never worked when I needed it to (see other thoughts)

Cons: Everything? It doesn't really work.

Other Thoughts: Windows sometimes detects it as a valid device and sometimes loses it. It is unstable and is constantly disconnecting throughout the day. No I don't have a loose wire etc... It's just a junky device. I would tell you to spend more money on a higher quality one but I couldn't even find any with good reviews. Your best bet is to probably stick to external card readers... They have yet to fail me I just wanted the convenience of having one internal.

Pros: Good Price

Cons: QC on this product is nonexistent. I bought 3 of these some time ago and finally got around to installing them. Due to them sitting here so long I can't return them which is my fault. The problem with the 3 I have is that none of the card slots line up with the holes in the front so you can't get a card in without damaging it or the smaller cards disappear into the computer case. This will be the last Rosewill product I buy. Spend a couple more bucks and get a reader that you can at least get the cards in.
