Pros: got this unit for a friends computer that I was building and it was perfect choice case was an older style that did not have USB 3 mobo had header so this put it up front where you need it most for USB drives, the card reader portion much faster than USB 2 if you have memory cards or drives that are either USB 3 or a higher class on memory cards such as class 6 or higher

Cons: price needs to come down a bit more

Pros: USB 3.0 off MoBo connector

Cons: CF card upside down, resulting in bent pins when I tried to insert card right side up...silly me :P
internal board mounted crooked, resulting in broken tab on black face plate when I changed to silver face plate, which I had to file tab down to fit.
Disassembled whole thing, straightened board, and CF pins. Now everything works, except CF card still upside down.

Other Thoughts: Gotta remember to insert CF card upside down, other cards right side up. At my age, my memory is not my long suit :P

Pros: Win7 recognized this device with no issues. All the slots show up under hardware manager. USB makes it quick when copying files from my SDcards.

Cons: The only complaint was that the slots were different from my old reader. Not a problems with the hardware, just have to relearn where to stick the cards.

Pros: Fit the bill exactly for what I was looking for.

Cons: I purchased this unit because of its alternate faceplate. The lefthand faceplate clip cannot be depressed to remove the faceplate as it rests against the CF slot. The faceplate cannot be remove without damaging the unit.

Cost of shipping back=50% cost of unit.

Pros: Works as advertised, as some said the CF slot is fragile IF you don't pay attention to pin orientation.

19-pin internal usb 3.0 header so you don't have ugly wires running out the back of your case

Cons: Can't really think of any, since I bought the cheapest card reader with the 19-pin header, works, all I hoped for when spending this little

Pros: Easy installation.
USB 3.0 port.
Inexpensive.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I recently upgraded my system (but not my case) and wanted to take advantage of the USB 3.0 header on the new motherboard. This was a cheap and easy way to do it. I checked the card readers, and they're working as advertised too.

Pros: USB 3.0, 74-in-1 card reader, micro sd card has its own slot no adapter required

Cons: Stopped working randomly at around the 1-year mark, no slots work, no lights on, no usb, nothing.

Other Thoughts: This thing never saw any heavy use, used mostly sd/microsd/usb port, but even those not very often

Pros: It's fast. It works. It reads all my cards and USB device both old and new. I use this all the time for the SD cards holding my Nikon 3100's pictures and for my 500GB Seagate USB 3.0 external HDD. Everything I plug into it works exactly the way it should at a faster transfer speed than any of the USB 2.0 ports on my case or motherboard. I have not yet tested it against the USB 3.0 ports on my motherboard but as it's an add-on card reader I'm sure it's a little slower, but that's unavoidable.

Cons: None that I can tell.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill makes a fine card reader.

Pros: This is a follow-up to my previous review (See cons). To Rosewill's credit, they refunded the price of this unit to my charge card. The four eggs is for their response to the issue, not for the product itself.

Cons: Pros: Worked when I installed it. Used up a bunch of drive letters, but can change it to map to folders.

Cons: Now, only the USB 3 port works, the rest are dead. Tried it in Win7 64 and Win8 64. Both have stopped working. Disconnected it.

Other Thoughts: I used the refund to purchase another of the same. The other brands appear to be more or less identical.
