Pros: Runs at spec str8 outta the box as advertised. American made with absolutely outstanding tech support!! Being totally new to the X58 chipset I had a few issues getting this memory to run with 'high Overclocks' +180 base clock. After contacting Mushkin support who were extremely knowledge about both their product and the different MB's that it goes into (what a concept!) issue fixed. 1st set of Mushkins I've bought and now will exclusively use Mushkin. Amazing sticks!

Cons: Can be a bit finicky with high OC's although this is probably directly related to the chipset (X58) not the memory.

Other Thoughts: Have it running now at 6-6-6-18 @ 1600. Stock CPU speeds. On OC's been using 7-8-7-20 @ around 1800 and 8-9-8-24 @2000. Thats right 1600 (some say its 1333 just OC'd outta the box) rock solid stable @2000+. Hard to beat that.

Cons: None whatsoever exept the no name review that got one bad stick and writes a bad review. it says you only had it for 1 week to 1 month why didnt you just RMA with new egg?

Other Thoughts: I never write reviews, but I was so amazed at the performance I got out of these sticks I just felt compelled to. First Mushkin kit I have ever owned and I will never buy anything else except Mushkin again.

Pros: Tight timings, fast RAM, good price, great reputation. Going just by specs, there should be no problems with this RAM. Memory settings do need to be explicitly entered into the BIOS to get the full 1600mhz and manufacturer guaranteed timings.

Cons: I got at least 1 bad module out of the box testing with memtest86+.
Contacted Mushkin for RMA last week, still not heard from them. Their website advertises "one day turnaround", so apparently one Californian day is half a week (and counting) for the rest of us.

Other Thoughts: Mushkin RAM is great if it works. If it doesn't, submit an RMA and pray that they actually get back to you. The "one day turnaround" that they claim to have is not reflective of reality. RMA is handled online. Who knows whether your support ticket actually gets through to them because they don't email you a copy. Got a question about your RMA status? Well, you can either call them and stay on hold like any other call center or you can (you guessed it) submit a ticket online which generates no email evidence that you contacted them.
I'm excited to see what happens when I finally do get my RMA approved (if that does ever happen)...will will putting 3 sticks of DDR3 into a box and writing my address on the shipping label take them "one day turnaround" as well?
