Horrible customer service
- Pros: Inexpensive.
- Cons: Horrible customer service.
My memory died a few months from purchase. I RMA'ed it to Mushkin on October 14, received the 17th. I didn't get a response for a week, at which point I messaged them. A few days later, they replied saying they received it, they were going through a "system change," and should be shipped within 24 hours. A week later, I message them again and no response. A few days later, I post on their forums and a mod/employee says he'd check the following workday.
Took a month and constantly reminding them to do their job. No automated messages, no "We are going through a system change, expect delays" notification. The mod/employee said "sorry for the delays, we upgraded your memory to thank you for your patience!" Turns out, it wasn't an upgrade. Same memory.
Overall, worst RMA I've experienced. I guess you get what you pay for. I don't recommend them, and I'll never be buying them again.

More on the missing UPC Code
- Pros: After reading that I was stuck with memory I couldn't use, Mushkin's Newegg Account Manager contacted me and offered to take the memory back for a full refund. That bears repeating - a full refund. This means Newegg gets to keep its profit on the original sale, and it comes out of Mushkin's pocket - twice! You just can't find that level of customer support and commitment to service very often these days. They were under no obligation to do that. They're just good people with whom to do business.
- Cons: Not a one.
- Other Thoughts: Mushkin has made a loyal customer out of me. I recommend you always try to fill your rmemory requirements with them first. They go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy - not just satisfied! I'm looking forward to doing business with them in the future.
good price for defective ram

- Cons: i ordered 2 kits. one of the kits has 2 defective sticks of ram. due to not getting the upc with the package newegg refusing to accept the RMA. wow you guys dropped the ball on this one newegg
