5 out of 5 eggsMushkin DDR3 RAM

Pros: Runs at 1,5v so didn't have to increase voltage.

Cons: no the fastest one but again they run at default voltage.

Other Thoughts: Have two of this kits on my system.Make sure you have some airflow because they will run kinda hot in tight spacing.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, Fast, Solid

Pros: Inexpensive, Fast and it's Mushkin. Mushkin has makes solid memory. It's been my favorite for about a decade. Mushkin is usually more expensive than other brands so this segment is a welcome surprise.

Cons: So many incredibly stupid people downgrading Mushkin products because the people don't know how to build a PC. Turn off the PC before you put the memory in. There are notches in the sticks that tell you how to mount it. The manuals that come with the motherboard tell you where to put it. If all else fails, buy some other brand - stick it wherever you like and downgrade THAT because "it doesn't work" ... in your fridge.

Other Thoughts: I'm about to buy another set of these sticks. Mushkin is 'set it and forget it' memory - it will do well because it always does well. It's solid and well built. It astonishes me it's so cheap - guess it's the entire triple channel format.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: Reasonable price. Good support and, as usual excelent Newegg service.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My new favorite memory. It's reasonably priced, works well and very imporant, customer service monitors here on Newegg and they respond.

I can't minimize how important that is when you have a problem and want resolution. They respond and offer names, addresses, phone number and email. That's impressive. Thanks Muskins!

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible customer service

Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: Horrible customer service.

My memory died a few months from purchase. I RMA'ed it to Mushkin on October 14, received the 17th. I didn't get a response for a week, at which point I messaged them. A few days later, they replied saying they received it, they were going through a "system change," and should be shipped within 24 hours. A week later, I message them again and no response. A few days later, I post on their forums and a mod/employee says he'd check the following workday.

Took a month and constantly reminding them to do their job. No automated messages, no "We are going through a system change, expect delays" notification. The mod/employee said "sorry for the delays, we upgraded your memory to thank you for your patience!" Turns out, it wasn't an upgrade. Same memory.

Overall, worst RMA I've experienced. I guess you get what you pay for. I don't recommend them, and I'll never be buying them again.

5 out of 5 eggsMore on the missing UPC Code

Pros: After reading that I was stuck with memory I couldn't use, Mushkin's Newegg Account Manager contacted me and offered to take the memory back for a full refund. That bears repeating - a full refund. This means Newegg gets to keep its profit on the original sale, and it comes out of Mushkin's pocket - twice! You just can't find that level of customer support and commitment to service very often these days. They were under no obligation to do that. They're just good people with whom to do business.

Cons: Not a one.

Other Thoughts: Mushkin has made a loyal customer out of me. I recommend you always try to fill your rmemory requirements with them first. They go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy - not just satisfied! I'm looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

2 out of 5 eggsWhere's the UPC code?

Pros: It works as advertised.

Cons: This product was received with no MFG's UPC code. Due to an exceptional circumstance, Newegg agreed to take it back, but backed out of the deal when the UPC code couldn't be found. Mushkin says they put it on the back of the package but it wasn't there when I got it. Mushkin offered to RMA the memory and what they sent back had no UPC code either. When asked, they replyed "It avoids rebate complications." I replied I didn't want a Mushkin rebate, I wanted a Newegg refund. Mushkin didn't reply. So I'm stuck. Thanks guys.

Other Thoughts: Unprintable.

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings!

5 out of 5 eggsNice Mem

Pros: Opened it up plugged it in and it ran fine.
Did not have to mess with timings at all.
Heats spreaders are nice.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Was the cheapest available and have purchased their DDR 2 memory which is still running fine.
I only use mild OC so I did not need faster memory
Have a giga ud4p/ gtx280 /12 gig mem/raid 300g raptors installed in a Thermaltake Spedo advanced.
