Bang for the Buck!
- Pros: I multi-boot between XP (32-bit), Vista (64-bit), and Win7 (64-bit) on my HP DV2Z laptop. I used this to replace faulty RAM and it has been flawless. Faster than the stock RAM that HP packaged and with no system instabilities at all.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: You need 64-bit operating systems to see all 4GB, so on a 32-bit OS, you'll see around 3GB instead. Despite what another reviewer wrote, Mushkin has been around for many years and they have a great reputation with regards to customer support.

- Cons: i've never heard of this company and the only reason i bought the ram was because it was so cheap but when i received it in the mail and installed it did not work hopefully the replacement does

- Pros: It's RAM; it either works, or it doesn't. That said, it has worked wonderfully so far, allowing me to run graphics applications that wouldn't run with 2GB of RAM.
- Cons: Vista Business (and other versions) that are 32-bit don't recognize all 4GB properly. If you only want 4GB, buy two 2GB chips and save yourself the money. However, if you want to leave open a easy upgrade to a 64-bit OS that will recognize all the RAM, buy 4GB so that you can put 8GB total in your laptop when the time comes.
- Other Thoughts: Not really a problem per se, but the DDR2 chips on the RAM circuit are Samsung, not the chips shown in the picture with Mushkin insignia.
