Pros: There is nothing pro about this company

Cons: Like most mushkin products very average and very questionable quality. Very slow next to the competition and forget about trying to rma anything with Mushkin as they will just ignore your requests and ignore your emails.

Other Thoughts: I have two. It wrote at 18.7Mb/sec. The second came with some fine scratches on the black plastic. Unsure why.

Other Thoughts: This was a good pick for me as I was looking for something that would give me good speeds with storage ability.
Been using it over a month now with no issues whatsoever.

Pros: I've owned thumb drives from virtually all the major manufacturers and in my mind, from now on, my first thought is always going to be mushkin even if it cost 20% more. They are tough, fast, the right size, and seem to last forever. I can't say the same about any other drive I've owned.

Pros: Lots of capacity. Fast enough to do the job though I haven't made any speed measurements. Reasonably good value if you catch it on sale.

Cons: The cap is small. It is transparent. It does not snap onto the back of the unit for safekeeping. If someone deliberately designed a cap so it would be easy to lose, it would look exactly like this.

Other Thoughts: I "painted" the cap with red and green Sharpies to make it easier to see. But I'm not so sure a cap is necessary anyway. On the "capless" designs that I usually buy the connector is open to the elements even when retracted, and it doesn't seem to cause a problem.

Pros: Price is good and physical dimension is small. Does not crowd adjacent USB ports. Reasonably fast. I am satisfied with the performance this past year.

Cons: First ordered this device 11/29/2010. It failed and I returned it to NewEgg for replacement on 12/27/2010. On 11/16/2011, it fails read, write and format again and I requested an RMA from Mushkin.

Other Thoughts: Advice to novices: Do not rely on any single Flash memory or other media to back up your data. You should have multiple copies of your important data.
