5 out of 5 eggsWorks. Definitely added speed to aging PC.

Pros: Works. I was hesitant to put a few more dollars into an aging PC but this extra 2 gb of memory really did speed it up nicely. Glad I did.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Installed this RAM alongside Corsair on an Abit motherboard 2 months ago. Works great, no problems at all.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Mushkin is USA-made, high quality RAM. I've been running Mushkin in my laptop as well with no problems.

1 out of 5 eggsNot good

Pros: Needed some RAM to max out my Windows XP machine (before I learned the many ways that the /3GB switch can be bad news). These were at a good price and had excellent reviews, looked pretty cool too.

Cons: First set gave me crashing programs, frozen system, and some loss of access to data. Then it just started giving me BSODs. I returned for an exchange from Newegg, no big deal, everybody gets a bad stick every now and then. Second set wouldn't even allow my PC to boot, just a black screen. This time it was sent back for a refund.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to get to 3GB of RAM in this PC using a dual channel pair of 512MB sticks (there's already a dual channel pair of 1GBs in there, bringing it to 2GB). There aren't many options out there for dual channel in a DDR2 these days, and usually they're much slower as well. I ordered a single 1GB G Skill single stick that matches the specs of the other RAM in there and I think I'll call that good. I don't mind making small improvements to the PC I'm talking about, but it is old and if I was going to spend some real money I'd start a whole new build instead.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Inexpensive upgrade to keep an older computer viable for a long time. Looks good in the computer tower. Works perfectly.

Cons: None so far...

Other Thoughts: I have an XP machine that I'm trying to hang on to as long as possible while I wait for the AMD Vishera and motherboards and everything else I need to rebuild my rig to come down in price. This was a cheap way to max out my computers current memory allocation. The sticks arrive well packaged and undamaged. They have heat spreaders which aren't as snazzy as newer memory modules but are still attractive enough. The sticks are also sturdy and well made and no at all flimsy. Cheaper sticks tend to bend during installation but these are rock solid as you apply equal force across the stick to insert it. Overall a worthwhile product that 32-bit XP users should buy to max out their memory.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Inexpensive, stylish, high quality materials, nothing DoA

Cons: None so far...

Other Thoughts: As usual, shopping with NewEgg has been an absolute pleasure. My item arrived quickly and tracking is always nice to have so I can obsessively check where it is. These memory sticks are of exceptional quality; no flimsy cheapness here! They are packaged well and look very nice inside the computer. Neither stick was DoA on arrival and they installed easily given that the heat spreaders seem to add more rigidity to the stick. The heat spreaders aren't as fancy as some other ones but if you're like me and running Windows XP 32-bit and need to just max out memory to add some longevity to your computer before doing a complete system upgrade this is the memory to buy!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I bought this to upgrade a 2006ish Dell Dimension 4100 desktop that my family currently uses mainly to browse the internet and play some basic games. It did make a slight impact in performance, limited of course by the age of the computer itself.

Cons: Didn't impact performance much
