Cons: I have a Gateway FX4710-UB802A computer with 2 X 2gb of PC 5300 memory with 2 empty slots - it is rated to be expandable to 8 gb (4 X 2gb). The Mushkin memory, which is supposed to be PC 5300, won't let the computer post no matter how I configure it - even by itself. The original memory works in all 4 slots. Windows Vista instantly recognized the new memory, all 4 extra GB of it, with no issues. It runs at the correct timing as advertised. My operating system is windows 7 and it does see all of it. Cons: none Other Thoughts: Just a side thought. If you are upgrading Windows 7 32 bit windows will see all 4 GB but you can only use 3 of it. The OS says only 3 GB is usable so if you want to use all 4 GB get a 64 bit operating system.
