4 out of 5 eggsWorks great, mild OC right out of the box.

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 991770

Pros: Specs are conservative. Mine are running at 1390 and CAS 8 at the stock 1.5v, and may go faster - I haven't had time to experiment.

Mushkin honored their warranty of 2x2GB 'Silverline' DIMMs I purchased back in 2010. (One had developed likely solder cracks.) Bought two of these 4GB to keep me going during the RMA.

Cons: None so far.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for choosing Mushkin.
We appreciate your feedback and support.

3 out of 5 eggsWill not work in Dell Optiplex 380

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 991770

Pros: Looks to be good ram, I have had good luck with Mushkin.

Cons: Took a chance that it would work in Optiplex 380, but will not post even with newest BIOS. Luckily I have some other brand PCs this will probably work in.

Other Thoughts: This is probably good ram, it just won't work in a Optiplex 380.

2 out of 5 eggscheap memory, failed after a year

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 991770

Pros: cheap

Cons: My system started crashing after a year with this memory. I wasted a lot of time debugging before I found that it was failing the memory test.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat can I say? Works.

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 991770

Pros: - It works, fast and pretty looking.

Cons: - Not free at all :c

Other Thoughts: The ram was a lot heavier than I expected, probably because of the heatsink.

There isn't much special, it works and is cheap as dirt. I'd definitely get these over the other PNY ram.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 991770

Pros: Works at advertised speeds out of the box.
Decently quick.
Nice aesthetic with tiny tiny ridges in the shiny aluminum of the heat spreader. Hard to see from the website pics.

Cons: Heatspreader looks different than my old kit of silverline of the same spec to which this was added. Not really a con since I don't have a window on my mid-tower.

Other Thoughts: If you have a kit of older Silverline 4GB DDR3 1333, these are NOT identical. My setup uses a 3x4GB kit from a little over a year ago, and I was wrong to assume these are the exact same chips. The difference is the appearance of the heatspreader. Still works, in dual-channel, and my mobo sees the full 16 GB at rated speed in addition to my VRAM.

5 out of 5 eggsGood.

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 991770

Pros: Does what it's supposed to.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought a 3-channel kit using these DIMMs a few years ago. I just bought this 4th stick to use in a new SB system to give me 16GB of RAM.
