5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 996770

Pros: The memory holds a lot of ram For my current motherboard.

My brother set it up for me.

I was really pleased with the out come more memory.

I didnt have really any problems with it

Cons: Well only thing was little down clearing the cache was error for me

It just reset, but otherwise that only flaw I know shouldn't be big deal its ram.

Other that's only flaw I can think of.

Otherwise its awesome fit for my motherboard for now.

Other Thoughts: Nothing really the memory my brother said to use.

Already liking the extra memory no errors anymore.

Thanks to my brother its his job to know whats the best out there!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid, unassuming RAM.

Pros: Inexpensive, good-looking, and I've yet to come across a bad Mushkin stick (compared with my unfortunate history of certain other name brands' reliability). I purchased these for every build I did for quite a while (various friends and family members' custom computers), and each computer is still running strong.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Does exactly what it says it'll do. This isn't going to get you the biggest, baddest performance numbers, but at this price who cares?

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Was very fast at time purchased, still faster than what most machines come with.

Cons: Went bad, had to RMA. Did not appreciate having to provide proof of purchase on a lifetime warranty. Kudos to Newegg for storing invoice history.

Other Thoughts: Started having trouble a few months after buying memory, but took awhile to pin issue down due to nature of the instability. Memtest86+, intel burn test, etc would not fail. Only discovered memory at fault by running a single stick at a time until a faulty one was found.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Cheap

Pros: - $40 when I got it.
- 1333 mhz was pretty much standard when I bought it

Just good RAM lasted me over 3 years now.

Cons: NO CONS.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, buy this stuff if you are going with a budget build.

Do not recommend sub 1600mhz RAM anymore though, - circa2013

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works as advertised.
Good price (payed 40$ in 2012, unfortunatelly the price went up).
My pair works good even overclocked.
The heatsinks stay cool.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggs1 stick DOA

Pros: Performs well, great price, great service from Mushkin

Cons: One stick was DOA, RMAd it with Mushkin. - one egg for that.

Other Thoughts: After installing these in a fresh build, I started having some problems after boot, looked like a memory problem. Ran memtest and found that one of the sticks was taking a bunch of errors. The RMA process was painless with Mushkin, and they even paid for shipping (sent me a shipping label). It delayed the build for a week, but all is good now.

2 out of 5 eggs bad stick

Pros: I got them at a discounted price. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Cons: Out of 6 sticks one was bad, preventing boot. Thinking of switching to another brand, possibly crucial.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Bought this ram for 2 comp builds and I can't say I regret it. Memory performs perfect as it should. Mushkin proves them selves again. Love their ssd's to.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: 8 gigs of ddr3 for less then $40 is a great deal.

1 out of 5 eggsbad stick

Pros: 3/4 sticks work

Cons: 1/4 sticks bad, prevent boot

Other Thoughts: got 2 packages of this in bundle with mobo, CPU and VGA from newegg. Total of 16gb DRAM, assume in matched pairs. Put the pairs in same color slots. No boot. Even with Asus MEM OK auto-tuner, no boot. Went through many combos of 1-4 sticks in each slot, determined that no matter where I put a certain stick it would not boot. So I have 12gb working and one dead stick.
