2 out of 5 eggsShort Life

Pros: Fast, worked right out of the box.

Cons: Died in May, bought in November. 7 months seems like what a lot of people are seeing. I'll RMA it, but it sounds like the replacements aren't much better.

1 out of 5 eggs2 out of 3 Dead in less than 4 Months

Pros: Price

Cons: High failure rate

Other Thoughts: Price was good but a 66% (2 out of 3 failed within 4 months) failure rate for an SSD is not acceptable. I guess you get what you pay for. Took over 2 weeks to get a replacement the first time. Waiting on the second now. Now I have to pay return shipping and rebuild the OS and install programs. Save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration and but another brand. I've had good success rates with Intel and OCZ. Lesson learn for me.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat support, poor product

Pros: When it worked, it was quick to boot and worked like a charm.

Support was quick to respond and got a replacement drive out ASAP.

Cons: First one died after very occasional use over the course of ~6 months. The replacement drive died after ~2 months of, still, very occasional use.

Both had the same problems. It would first refuse to boot but you could still access it from another installation of Windows. After about a week, it would become completely unreadable.

Other Thoughts: I hate giving one star reviews... but *sigh* a paperweight isn't a hard drive.

1 out of 5 eggsHD Failure

Pros: It was fast while it worked.

Cons: Failed after 10 months of light use without any warning at all, one boot up it worked, the next boot up it didn't. This HD is not recognized by any OS (Windows, OSX, or Linux) by any partition manager that we've tried (Gparted, FDisk, etc). Completely dead and everything stored on it lost.

Other Thoughts: Don't store anything on one of these SSD drives that you can't live without - they apparently fail without the usual warnings that a mechanical drive will give such as clicks, pops, or whining.
Let's see what the Mushkin RMA process is like now.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for 2 years and now failing.

Pros: Was sufficiently fast (not the fastest of ssds)
Easy RMA provided you have the Receipt. Thank goodness for newegg keeping the order history. Although newegg please make the order history searchable rather than breaking them up by year.

Cons: SANDFORCE CONTROLLER (PIECE OF JUNK). I have had so many SSD failures (all of them using the Sandforce controllers).
The failure rate of ssds is actually higher than mechanical hdds at this point.
They MAKE YOU PAY for shipping the failing/dead drive out to them.

Other Thoughts: Just avoid any sandforce controller SSDs. You'll avoid headaches in the long run. I am very satisfied with Samsung 830 and 840 SSDs.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Reliability

Pros: Fast, during the short time the drive functions as intended

Cons: My first drive died in under a year, got a replacement, that drive died as well, in about 3 months, got another replacement, and today it died as well, after about 2 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. The 2nd time the drive died, I lost an enormous amount of Minecraft server data, including my world that I had been playing on since Minecraft became available. Very unhappy about losing that. Psu voltages are well within spec, just as I would expect from Seasonic, so It can't be that. Just an enormous string of bad luck I guess.

Other Thoughts: Stay far far away from Sandforce drives.

2 out of 5 eggsDied

Pros: Fast while it lasted.
Had it in a RAID 0 configuration

Cons: Died after 17 months of use.
No warning, no signs of issues, just died.
Went to turn on my PC and the RAID config popped up and said that there was no drive present.

Other Thoughts: Bought it in September of 2011

5 out of 5 eggsNice speed Boost

Pros: The SSD sat perfectly in my Laptop, So for laptops this is great.
Great speed for SATA II
Low power consumption
Laptop is a lot more quiet
Boots in a matter of a few seconds
Programs open instantly
Virus scans take merely a few minutes, if you need to use such software.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is a great way to speed up a desktop or laptop that only has SATA II support. Overall this is a nice upgrade,
More than enough room if you know what your doing. Small, Fast, Silent, and your battery will last longer.
I suggest this as an SSD for laptops mostly desktops you might want a larger size or SATA III

2 out of 5 eggsWAS nice!

Pros: Read and Write Speeds were extremely fast for being SATAII. Seemed to be very stable, and boot times for my setup was between 15 and 20 seconds from power button. Very Nice Looking, and build quality seemed above average.

Cons: 1st one died after approx. 10 months. Contacted Mushkin and they sent me a new one. The one they sent was an OEM and did not look good like the 1st one. #2 died after 6 months with no warning signs. I didn't bother to send the second one back, I just used it for a coaster lol. I would highly recommend anyone who owns this SSD to back-up your important files, because I was unable to retrieve anything.

Other Thoughts: I personally would not buy another Mushkin SSD regardless of the price. I'm sure some have yielded more positive results.
